I've started learning English approximately 3 years ago, but when I tell people that they think I have 3 years in total of learning English, which is not true. I've stopped practicing and learning English for quite a while, maybe 9 months or even more, and I did experience my English fluency degrading significantly (I got my English fluency by only 7 months of practicing English, it's totally attainable, but requires discipline, free time, and smart work), I'm not sure though whether or not it's possible to lose a language completely by not practicing it for a very long time, but I assume it might get pretty bad, but not to the extent that you'll completely lose it. It's worth noting that going back to your original skill level in English is a piece of cake compared to acquiring it from the ground up.

Assuming that it's really possible that amino acids were produced at the early stages of earth, it does not remotely imply the possibility of life forming out of those organic compounds, in fact, there would be an incredibly long way to go in order to form the simplest living cells out of them, you need a DNA in order for the ribosomes (which you'll need as well) to create RNAs and later use them to form amino acids that we need for a specific type of protein, all of these are interdependent, some random amino acids would never be able to somehow form all of these things, so you're celebrating a mere thread.
