To clarify, I'm not saying your or anybody'y god isn't real or that no theistic religions are true, but that there simply isn't any sufficient evidence of this being the case. Meanwhile, we have a good understanding of how religious belief came to be.

I mean, we're ultimately talking about religious texts from thousands and thousands of years ago, often rewritten and translated several times. These are just the texts that survived. How many religious beliefs were lost to time? Nobody believes Thor is real, right? Likely not, because we understand it's just a belief that helped people survive back then. It brought people together and filled in the gaps of knowledge (god of the gaps).

I find it interesting that religious belief seems to be such a strong part of our nature, but there does seem to be a trend away from it. For example, in the UK, people aren't nearly as religious as they used to be.

I think social media and being so in touch with each other is allowing knowledge to better spread (not always relying on ancient texts for current knowledge) and allowing us to exchange ideas in such a way that we can occasionally be compelled or convinced by new information. While this can be a bad thing, such as people believing in a flat Earth, it can also lead to positive change, such as people freeing themselves from an abusive and oppressive religious situation and thereafter living a happy and fulfilling life.

From my personal experience, some people question the existence of God for many reasons:

1. Contradiction in their parent's religion or creed (most likely the ones that are either man-made or have some man-made additions to it), making them unreasonable.
2. Personal whims and the strive for absolute freedom.
3. Ignorance.
4. Atheistic indoctrination or psychological manipulation through means like movies and TV shows etc...

Personally, the most notable reasons out of the ones I provided are "Ignorance" and "Personal whims", as I experienced that myself when I had some intellectual discussions with atheists, some of them refused to believe for the sole reason of restricting his/her so-called "freedom", others tend to become completely irrational bringing all types of nonsensical arguments in a desperate move attempting to disprove the existence of God or at least give an excuse not to believe, so some people simply don't want to believe in God.

It's pretty obvious for any sincere rational human being to conclude with the existence of God, as everything indicates intelligent design and deliberate creation. Attributing everything that came to exist to nothingness or some kind of unconscious materialistic means is super illogical.

We have a good healthcare system. Not perfect, especially lately, but the care I got once they knew what was wrong with me, was incredible. The nurses, the doctors, the surgeons, the random people in the hospital who helped when I was struggling to get around... all incredible.

Even the aftercare is amazing.

I was given a line to call if I had any issues, and two or three times I've used it, they told me to come in, and I was tested for a bunch of things and generally looked after.
