While you're in the process of getting degrees, isn't learning things sort of par for the course of the whole process? In another words, unless you're given a degree for farting and picking your nose, how does one get degrees and not gain more knowledge?

You'll already have tons of knowledge about programming. You'll understand variables, general programming structure, how functions work, how loops work, how recursion works, etc. You'd learn the language syntax and what-not, but you'd have a huge head start.

this is a tricky question and i think you cant do this fully, in polish companies they usually do tech interview where theyve got questions to check if you are likely to know what they need, and they also require you to show portfolio of completed projects (well if you faked this then you wont pass the interview so)

I gotta admit, it's blazzingly fast and has some good aesthetic features such as smooth animations, rounded corners, blurry background etc... which are not natively supported on other Wayland-based WMs. My overall experience is decent, but it's too early to form a proper judgement.

Portals are ways for applications to access resources on your desktop. They are more secure (that's the whole purpose of their existence), but kind of annoying though and counter intutive. Some applications (like Discord) don't yet entirely support Wayland, so you'll most probably encounter some problems sharing your entire screen for example etc...

I also encountered some issues setting up the resolution on Wayland, it does not have a convenient tool like xrandr to add missing resolutions etc etc... I had to tweak the grub config to get it to work properly.

Yes, depending on your situation and preferences, you might rather stick with X11 for the time being.
Even though Wayland is super fast, and is obviously more secure than X11, it's still under the development, and is not as mature. For me I like it.
Wayland is also evolving rapidly, and with popular Distros starting to support it more and more (such as Ubuntu), I expect it to be the default thing to be used in the future.

There's joyful, gleeful, high-spirited, elated, joyous, full of glee, full of happiness, feeling happy, in a great mood, ecstatic, etc. Granted, these themselves have different implications, but they could be used to also denote varying levels of happiness.

I mean the word chiefly means "happy" and had been always used as to describe something happy until it then became a word to refer to the sexual orientation.
People would rather not teach their children that gay means happy only to use it in the pejorative way or they just feel ashamed to use it like that. However, I personally didn't forget the original meaning of that word thus I'll keep using it that way. I'd better educate the youth instead of trying to use other words because for some people it means something else, which is taboo.
