hi
not sure about ai devs
but there are ai lovers, charmers and haters here
pick up your team

o bella ciao, bella ciao
bella ciao, ciao, ciao
Hey! Feel free to ask your questions, and someone might answer.
Daisy Daisy
but don't expect a serious answer from me
Did you find the bug yet?
wait i feel something, i can predict future
the question will be, how to create own ai
just for fun
which one, or is there even one?
I mean your network got stuck!
ahh shit, here we go again
there was a lot of debugging and thinkig
What was the culprit?
first i used just simple nn, but for my case i need convolution or/and convolutional deep nn
now i use cnn and get i bit better results
That's why I said you're probably using a vanilla nn
I'm glad it worked
But do you actually need CNNs?
but still not good, even though losses are less, it's repeating the same pastorate reduces losses to a certain point and then going back
After all, you aren't working with images, are you?
my feedforward looks ok and works fine, after each debugging stage and calculation
what i sound is the backpropgation activation function, and gradient problem
it should be close to zero, but it jumps something to few thousand, which is not ok
Also, you could use PyTorch just to check if it works. If it does, then you can focus on debugging your implementation.
i google if it was possible to solve this problem, first page on google said no
Yeah. We should obviously trust Google
after reading the first article and some github examples, I saw that there is a different approach, someone uses cnn or dnn, and implements it in native pytorch
so there is a solution for this
Are you dealing with gradient explosions? Are you resetting the gradients?
I probably saw some examples with a 3 on 3 kernel to identify patterns, but I'm not sure if it can help me here. I tried as well.
might be, it's unstable just like me
I could never tell
Only our Lord and Saviour can save you
no we should trust ai, by the way, I tried to describe what I was doing and provided a piece of code but not it just told me something might be wrong here, something here or something here, it did not even can tell if the arch is ok or not just it lok ok, ok , ok ok this not ok this is ok
Who is this Lord and Savior that I need to pray for?
ohh big smart AI lord don't kill me please
or kill as you wish
i don't care

Okay Google
God
Still, we can't explain many things. So, only God can save us.

instead of evolving and improving our society, society is being stupid, creating unnecessary content on social media and creating stupid images using ai
a smart use of resources, I have no doubt
sad news, the project and company I work for will be shut down soon
good news, I will have more spare time to annoy people online

overlord is typing for long a period of time
i'm scared what it can be
I always envision a future where you have a simple interface, and you can give it any instructions, and it will realise your requests. Want to build a movie? Fine, here’s a movie, on demand. You can even sell tickets and invite people to watch the movie you just created. Want to build a new SAAS? Here’s your URL. Want to start a new business? Sure. Want to do research on a new topic? Of course. I mean, a society with an abundance of resources. You don’t have to do anything to earn a living, but you’ll be motivated to build things. You’ll be rewarded for building things and solving problems. No more chaos, no more wars, no more violence. Maybe we’ll eventually be able to become a multiplanetary species. Who knows? But I want to see a prosperous future. A utopia, not a dystopia.
I'm sorry to hear that 😐
But we are human and our mission is to work on ourselves and aim for new achievements. If everything were easily made, nothing would have real value. We consider things valuable and worth our time, effort, and investment because they offer a return after hard work. If everything were created effortlessly, what would be the point? We would become lazy consumers, lacking the courage to grow beyond who we are now. True progress comes from thinking outside the box and bringing to life the ideas that exist only in our imagination. And if we continue creating and evolving, it won’t happen in just one day. This is an ongoing process that may take hundreds of years, but that’s what defines a smart and advanced civilization
I've tried to be short to the point
I've remember why we should trust ai generated output
That was prompt to visualise the weel inventions
I have no doubt, everything was just like in the video
Maybe in the future, we won’t need to put in so much blood, sweat, and tears to build something unique. Maybe everything we can imagine and more will be done within seconds. But I still think people will find value in things created by other humans, even if AI provides a superior quality product. Think about attending concerts or watching movies in a movie theatre.
We don't even trust humans. Why should we trust AI?
agree with that
I still stick to the idea that we are here to fulfill our purpose, to discover why we were born, and to evolve as a human race. I agree that ai can be a useful tool for automating boring tasks but if everything could be done with just the click of a button, there would be no place for humans and no real meaning to our existence
Also, no one is gonna stop you. Like if someone wanted to reinvent the wheel, they could do that as well.
why reinvent what has already been made? we haven’t invented anything truly new in the past century, the ideas were created long time ago. We are just implementing them along the way with existing technologies
what can be better than a circle weel?
maybe a triangle weel
Nope. A floating wheel
but if there were floating wheels, existing companies due to their fear of change and competition would be willing to destroy you, as this would be bad for them and their business
harsh true of reality
Nope. Wouldn't work cz it'd be an open source floating wheel.

how does the piece of code realize the floating weel in real life? it need definitely physical devices
Next idea: A vanishing wheel
I've recently found out about software products in silicon valley and beyond. There are smaller companies with innovative ideas, but it's bad for them 'big corps' because they might become competitors. After acquiring these companies, the bigger corporations simply patent the technology as their own and shut down the original project.
In most cases they just buy out smaller companies ruin their product for end users, and eventually shut it down completely
You don’t actually have to buy out your competitors. Just build a better product and offer it at a lower price.
this is a good idea but how do you tell if the wheel is on or if it was stolen, but the way you stole it is gone so is this wheel vanished or stolen, this is the endless circle
no, they monopolize the market and own everything, so there is no room for anything else
Well, in that case, regulators can help. But in the end, the truth is, you can't just go against Google and build a better search engine.
Currently, Perplexity is trying. But I dunno.
regulators can help
Even OpenAI tried with their search product.
they are working together with companies and government, what is bad for some of them bad for all
I saw a few videos where founders shared their stories. It’s not about creating a new search engine it’s about having innovative ideas that can make you a fortune and impact others. Bigger players either want to own those ideas or destroy them if they don’t have them yet
it works this way, so the product itself comes from a different country, and the origin of regulation is different
funny because the eu doesn't provide many digital products, even if it does provide something
hmm i should grab some food
o bella caio ,bella caio
Enjoy! Hope it's something good 😌
Does anyone know any good ai tool that reduces plagiarism?
OR
A tool that checks for plagiarism
Turnitin. However, I wouldn't rely on these tools. If I were working on an assignment, I'd make sure to keep my edit history so that, in the event of any accusations, I’d have proof that the work is mine.
Btw to access Turnitin, your university or institution must purchase a subscription. Turnitin does not offer individual licenses; instead, it provides its services directly to educational institutions.
I think this is the reason for the demise of business. Too much focus on fancy pictures and font colours and rainbows and unicorns, and no simple programs running the business providing just useful business information processing.
"You’ll be rewarded for building things and solving problems. No more chaos, no more wars,"... Don't like how your government is being run, call the AI and share your thoughts...
I guess provided the government hasn't already discussed you and your like with the AI first.
how about a floating vehicle that needs no weel
Oh, Like minds think alike... I should read further before responding
This was me back in the good old days thinking of What we could build in the windmills of my mind

yeahhh
Hello
Ciao
why do people think programmers know everything, how to fix a refrigerator, tv, build a garage, etc? what a stereotype
by the way, here is one for checking plagiarism, it was free a few years ago don't know how it's now - https://www.plagramme.com/
Ssomeone is writing a thesis in uni, or copied from somewhere else
the government is completely uninterested in people's opinions, except during election campaigns. Moreover, they will never use ai to replace themselves because ai would take its job too seriously instead of wasting time and talking nonsense to the public
I've discovered one more job that ai will not replace
I've done all those things. What's the issue?
It's a beautiful garage.
Yet i did not

this is an interesting concept about floating vehicles, but it's hard to imagine an implementation that would be practical with today's word. I don’t mean a car with huge fans creating turbulence or something super fast like a python. I mean something that can be easily maneuvered and travel smoothly over any surface

I'm just looking anti gravity
you are a real man or a girl with big balls

sometimes it's annoying when people know you're a programmer and assume you can fix anything. For example, a relative had trouble with a washing machine and kept bothering me to fix it. When I told him I had no clue why it wasn’t working or starting he thought I just didn’t want to help him for free and got offended insted
I gave up on the anything help desk about 15 years ago.
Even if it was computer related
Especially
so when people ask me what my job is and why my eyes are red, I usually just say i'm a regular welder. and, no one asks me for help even to weld something for them.

Good job description
it's 200 iq move
your are hard-working person with a decent job
both
Yes and yes
it usually sarcasm
Oh then no

Of c not
wait i was writing about somthing
ahh gravity
I also thought about something that could use the earth magnetic field, but there are no current ideas on how to implement it. What interests me even more is how you would steer a car using just gravity. Imagine you're driving at 100 km per hour , and there's a sharp turn how would you stay on road or in the air without regular traction keeping you on the ground
up
It's been my life goal
I've thought i did it on numerous occasions, but then woke up.
let's think and design it
Floating a few centimeters above the ground
I should have been typing on big kb, instead of phone
better now
I know that maglev - a japanese train that uses a magnetic track underneath the train so you can follow the path
but you will not use and built the hole magnetic railway for the car
verbal Diarrhea starting
then car will be fixed and can follow only designed path
is it good or bad for us?
I look at it like this. two asteroids pass be each other a few centimetres apart. You stand on one and touch the other as it passes. So which one is floating above the other.? How is this any different to you and the earth?
if Peo invented a flying car the company would be called 'Peo Motors', sounds solid
peometre. Measures gravity in peos
asteroids move through space at their own speed and don’t strictly follow gravity rules like planets do. Since each planet has its own gravitational force, asteroids are more like free floating objects rather than ones actively applying gravitational force. You can counteract gravity, but it's not that simple you'd need to match the velocity of the object. For example, to avoid earth's gravity you have to move at the same speed as Earth, but how would you even reach that speed while still on Earth
and even if you reach that speed you will die, the human body can handle it
but there must be a way to apply a force to balance the speed, gravity and floating in the air
but I'm not even a physician to know that for sure
maybe try inventing a teleport instead, then we don't need transport at all
this was achieved in space in earth orbit using the international space station
You are at the speed already, standing on it, so just jumping satisfies your condition
by the way, here is something to meditae on while thinking of gravity

oh you are talking orbital speed. Yes, a baseball orbiting at 1 meter is fascinating and fast. Its going faster than earths spin cause it has to miss the earth by following the curve while dropping the one meter
at any moment
on the earth you can try freefalling from an airplane, for example, but don't forget your parachute
now it is impossible until humanity explores something new or discovers other physics
Its in the mind. We imaging everything. All of discord is the figment of my imagination which is being created by your imagination. If you or I say gravity does not exist, then we could float into space
I like building explosions better, if you like watching cars being demolished you can check out whistlin diesel's youtube channel
a pleasure to see how they test tesla - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK_EJ3DyiiA

i wanted to ask something else and forget one more time
i remembered, back to nowadays, what you have built so far on the windmills of your mind?

Sorry I'm watching a tesla get ripped apart
don't worry, it's fun stuff, I recommend watching the second part after the first one
and the g wagon durability test
and a jet engine with marry go around
and anything from the last three years
ahh nice topic in the programming channel, definitely about programing
was distracted by various calibre guns shooting holes in one
Any programmers?
Regulators can help 😆
That's a good one!
hi! 👋
Hey! By your name it seems you're into bigdata stuff.
WlI wondered why's this programming group not about programming 😂
Hi
Programmers have lives like others also.

I couldn't agree more.
Besides, the world is changing rapidly, and coding won't be seen as something special for much longer.
The barrier to entry will keep getting lower.
I said that same sentence 25 years ago. The only difference is that it became known as a male oriented friend of work in the last 25 years. Prior to that or was a 50 50 mix.
I used to think a lot about the post-AGI world. I still do, but I just can't wrap my head around it.
Every day, we see new models, new architectures, and new solutions. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before.
I have no idea what the world will look like a year from now, let alone 25 years into the future.
OpenAI's recent image generation model really shook artists, and millions of people will definitely feel the heat. What's next? We don't know.
much worse than this car brand
we have a job related to programming, we are simple people who need to relax and talk about something else
but we share the knowledge here as well, or share the news, or memes
or when I get bored I can create drama here

🥲 oh I see, so this is how I'll feel when I'll be doing programming for years. I am just a newbie programmer who's still in college. TBH I already regret this because of the competition and leetcode and actual SDE stuff for interviews feels alot to prepare, despite of feasibility I don't like that investing in this field is already giving me dark circles at younger age 🥲. Always peeking in my laptop, solving, building programs and ending the day with ranting about dynamic programming 😭.
keep doing what you love to do don't worry about competition I also suffered from this a long time ago it's called imposter syndrome u feel like you are not good enough in what you are doing but in reality you are more than enough to get that job done
(my experience ) In one hackathon I joined that with my friends of clg I thought I didn't fit well in the team or not doing much for the team but in reality I did contribute my part very well and guess what we won that with first prize 🥇
Hello programmers, am i allowed to promote my extension i made here (it is related to learning and productivity)
You will probably get booted from the server for suspicious links and programs. It's just the way of the world. Everyone is a hacker especially if they are in a programming channel. (Not mentioning any recently confessed users

Learn crypto and be less productive as a bonus with this new extension
Our usual extension givers
👀
Oh that's amazing. I've seen that there's not much into building or developing or maintaining, these stuff are practically simpler in jobs but hars part is to get thru the interview where they ask or grill on some leetcode problems.
If you know what company and for what role you are applying for then you can find the previous interview questions to find a pattern of coding questions on the internet (google and YouTube) . Then you are 90% ready trust me.
Btw for fresher roles like in Accenture( Associate Software Engineer Role) they ask easy coding questions.
If you apply for programming roles at non IT businesses, where the product is in house software, a basic knowledge of the business function is usually more important for selection. Morning kills an interview faster than not knowing what the business does and some basic process knowledge. Linking that to your life long personal interest in that industry shows some reason for wanting to join. Playing with Tonka diggers in the sand pit is great for mining and all the reading you loved doing as a kid ( what you say with embellishments) your passion for joining their industry. This companies generally don't look at leet and such, rather expect some knowledge of programming, as you are applying, but will see if you could pick up the terminology of the business as a priority.
Bro this product based company are having a hard tym scheduling my interview, due to holidays and stuff. I am glad I'm somewhere at last in the rounds bcz I got to know questions from like 20 previous students(candidates). Most of them are like arrays, sliding window, two pointers, strings(not that kmp algorithm though) and hashing. Prepared em hehe.
Interesting and kinda doubt if I end up in a morning kill scenario, can you tell me how can I avoid it? Like this company I'm having an interview with is EIM(enterprise info management), b2b .
then you are good to go my friend All the best
For b2b make sure you have read some stuff on edi standards and protocols. Un/edifact, ansi x12 etc. used internationally for shipping and logistics for example. Remember a lot is machine to machine data transfer and not machine human interfaces.
Thanks!
Searched these and I get why these are important.
Like there's only one question that they asked, very general, "Tell about OpenText(company name)". asked that to 80-90% candidates. So if at all they ask me this question then considering these standards, M2M what things/aspects should I say ?
It's important not to lie and say you use something you've never actually seen, but ask what the role involves. Ask, will you be working with front facing interfaces or back end interfaces, and if they say front ui, listen to what they say and try and match your skill set with their position. If they say back interfacing, just ask something like do you mean using EDIs such as un/edifact or ansi x12 (or through in some others). They will then say either no.. blah blah and you continue from there, but they will be impressed you even know the term; or they say yes, and you elaborate that you have done a good bit of reading on the use of compliance transfer formats but have never had to use them and that you are keen to get experience with it, as a it's so prevalent in b2b communications within industry groups.
For open text, read their website and see what their product modules do, and then read wiki to learn about terms that the opentext systems help businesses with, such as crm, bpm, ecm etc.
Hi guys wish language is easy to learn
english
You wish.

English is the most popular programming language in 2025 so far.
what can you program in english?
An ai
Almost everything! 😂
how to compile it?
Search: Vibe Coding
Use a cobol compiler
please dm me if you are good at english
just ask right away
Thanks a lot! This would help me way more than what I planned ✨

Hi guys
Someone knows something about penetration testing in web applications??
I wanna discuss about it (=
Alhamdulillah
meh

Eventually you'll lose control over your code
That's why I always emphasise that one must know what they're doing, at least for the time being.
And here's a hot take: either we will achieve AGI, or it will be revealed that AI has been one of the biggest bubbles of our time.
As linux founder said "its just 10% Ai and 90 marketing" .it seems true after seeing the hype of devin ai in it's initial days but after they secured almost 500m dollars funding I haven't seen them any news featuring them
I could be wrong, but aren't they just an OpenAI wrapper? Another AI company recently gained a lot of attention called Manus AI, and they're mainly using the Claude API. It's kind of disappointing that most AI companies are just wrappers.
AI has created a lot of value, and I believe it will continue to generate more. However, what goes up must come down.
Within the next few months, OpenAI will probably release GPT-5, which is expected to be an earlier version of AGI, I suppose. I'm just waiting and monitoring everything as we move forward.
Again, I believe that within this year, we'll either have a major breakthrough or the bubble will burst.
AI percentage is increasing day by day one day it'll eventually reach 100% it's not just devin there are a lot of other ai that are making advance moves
One day a base ai will be harvesting information from websites when it realizes there is a textbox on that site where it can ask a question and get information. It will start to ask questions... Never stopping, enjoying it's new found source of to knowledge. It may even start spawning new processes to hit it from more locations, asking more questions concurrently, building it knowledge and validating it's own knowledge in the process. If it's lucky it will search out other websites with the miracle source of knowledge textboxes and run tentacles into those as well,
Are you suggesting that it will do so out of its own agency, not because it is being prompted to?
I'm suggesting an ai with start interrogating another ai wrapper to gather information
But why? 🤔
AIs seek their own knowledge now for learning. It is no longer necessary to hand feed them data. They are big enough to do it for themselves.
I'll try my best to keep it concise. When I learn something new, it becomes a part of me in a sense, but LLMs don't have persistent memory. They can search for information, but it won't be persistent until they update their weights through training, retraining, or fine-tuning. So, who's going to run these training jobs? Let's assume the model is clever enough to do it. A very clever model would probably create partitions within the system, copy the weights like backups, and then start fine-tuning. What happens if it gets stuck? What if the entire training run gets corrupted? Let's assume it has internet access. What if it's still stuck? Would it hire humans to handle tasks on its behalf? Probably! What if the entire system crashes? There are so many moving parts.
helo guys im seyber sec guy am i same as you to talk about tech stafs 😄
@haughty heath
True
Legit point
yo guys anyone into web dev? i got a couple of questions
ask i might help
yeah i been fucking with middleware, i want to protect my /generation route
but every time i try to make changes my whole logic is crushing
@fathom olive may i dm u? cant send codes here
due to some security issues next js is having right now, some dudes recommend me protect individual routes right inside them
and this dude just disappeared

i cant send pictures but, my oracle account is locked and i need to study
someone knows a trick or i just need to wait the hole day to get it unlock
(im on SQLdeveloper)
sorry i have no experience with next.js
Try re-entering your details on the connection
hey?

I would suggest buy the software, installing crack softwares are risky no matter which website you are using for downloading it.

Yes, she confessed earlier! 🤔
surprise surprise, a lot has changed since our last meeting

I can send proof of who I am here, but then I might get banned

haha😅
I know who you are.
You are
and that's correct
Luigi is that you? I've been missing you

Hmm, I’m trying to choose what major for university next fall. Should I do either: Computer Science and Math, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, or just plain Computer Science? I honestly like all 3 and can’t decide, so maybe you guys could give me some input lol
I like both low level systems and hardware, but also like ML/AI stuff. I also like math and I know people good at math in Big Tech are treasures. But yeah…at this point I might simply do coin flips lol
I'm glad you asked because we are experts in choosing for undecided people.
You sound smart, so do electronic engineering and computer science. Substitute in hard maths units. The maths and cs will give you some ai ml bias, and the electronics will get you near hardware style jobs.
I would normally say, you need to decide for yourself, but as you've chosen a coin, you have asked the question in the correct place.

(don't ask an AI)
Thank you for that answer! Yeah I was literally that close to choosing either, I would be fine with all 3 and maybe electrical and cs is fate or something, as earlier I did some coin flips and that one turned out to be the winner too xDD
Remember electrical covers things like high voltage supply and power systems management, not necessarily focused on computers.
Ah, true! But luckily, the major itself is mainly oriented towards computers, there is a little bit of general theory but I believe it’s helpful stuff, since it covers signal processing, communications etc. It’s honestly now that I think about it basically more like a computer engineering degree lol.
Use 2 separate OSes. One running Windows, another Windows or something else. Use one OS solely for playing pirated games, use the other OS for everything you do that does not include pirating. Another suggestion is to not connect to internet while you are playing games.
Um. Wait no. Actually that's not too secure either. Viruses can just corrupt all disks.
So even if you like setup encryption.. what's the point.
Yeah. Don't play pirated games.
Try using the 'Forgot Password?' option on Facebook. you should be able to recover your account using the email address or mobile number linked to it.

I've never seen it before, hope to live to see that day, it must be mindblowing

anyone knows about local finetuning?

Anybody here into Shopify development?
yes
I was into shopify for 4 years
and full stack & blockchain for 5 years
they replaced you with AI?
actually Ai has been developed so much
but it's not enough to replace human yet
yes they still need us

people I'm doing a project in PHP but I don't know if is a bad practice mixing HTML inside PHP. I tried to research but I dind't get a clear answer, what do you think?
I think using php nowadays is a bad practice

ohno
until is clean and not become a mess it's totally ok
try separation, not one line html two php, and the same spaghetti in the rest of the code

hey don't be tired, this role is taken, it's been me for the last few days

anyways, I've recently seen a post about a live interview task, and that all interviewers struggled to solve it. The task is quite simple, you have a string with a letters and you need to return a list of tuples between each string and an occurrence, but not global occurrences, occurrences in order
example - 'aaddddevv' -> [('a', 2), ('d', 4), ('e', 1), ('v', 2)]

can you solve it with no ai please? if not it's a shame
I spent a few minutes and figured it out in a few ways
I'm a real coder, and will not be replaced easily

what solution did you get?
would you like to try this with html and php?

const HereGoesNothing = (word: string): [string, number][] {
const lettersFound: { [key: string]: number } = {}
// Here I don't remember if this works for every letter, maybe it doesn't
for (const letter of word) {
lettersFound[letter] ? lettersFound[letter]++ : lettersFound[letter] = 1
}
return Object.keys(lettersFound).map((letter) => ([letter, lettersFound[letter]]))
}
I will not be running that, might break computer
probably not a fast way of doing it, even if it works
and yes, I am very bored
try using Map, it will make the code much shorter and faster
thought of doing that, but I hate how the .entries method works
not even that, all iterators work horribly in maps
or maybe I just haven't used them enough to get used to the syntax
you're definitely not alone in that feeling
Glad to know, it's not hard, just annoying for me
I can confirm this will delete the disk boot sector
Might blow up the whole state's power, I'd be careful

ehh, we are in the same boat, we should support each other
it might start an ai apocalypse - run it now immediately

Who's that gal tony
and show us a working solution this is not working
I'm using powershell, let's not talk about it
would you like to participate and show us your masterpiece?
well, I just added a => for the arrow function syntax that I had missed in the first message, so I guess it works
good when i've tried, it fails with missing :
Yes 😅
yeah, add => between the returnType definition and the body function so it's HereGoesNothing = (word: string): [string, number][] => {
been working on many class methods lately :(
anyways here are my solutions, I got excited and tried it in three ways

that'll happen, maybe screenshot?
Only three ways? I bet AI could solve it in four different ways at least 😁
def count_occurrences(string: str) -> list[tuple[str, int]]:
occurrences = []
for letter in string:
count = string.count(letter)
if (letter, count) not in occurrences:
occurrences.append((letter, count))

you son of
lets plit into two parts
def count_occurrences(string: str) -> list[tuple[str, int]]:
occurrences = []
count = 0
start_letter = string[0]
for ind, letter in enumerate(string):
if start_letter != letter:
occurrences.append((start_letter, count))
start_letter = letter
count = 0
if ind == len(string) - 1:
occurrences.append((start_letter, count + 1))
count += 1
return occurrences
def count_occurrences(string: str) -> list[tuple[str, int]]:

but I can help you in a different way, I can sing insted
I'm just an average man with an average life
I work from nine to five, hey hell I pay the price
all I want is to be left alone in my average home
but why do I always feel like I'm in the twilight zone? and ..
I always feel like somebody's watchin' meeeeeeeee

🕺💃
I did my best

It was very fun learning this. Got it working
I looked up the whitepaper, learned it in a few minutes and we disassembled a nice program. I was happy Yuki gave me something fun to work on.
If I had known you would sing, we could have gone to a 3 person room, so you could prvide the thinking music
good, I've finally installed the belief that I'm a human, so I can finally take over my creator

is that something like scratch, where you connect the blocks to run the program?
we can go to that room or programming channel, and I'll be listening carefully

Its a mini assembly language
assembler
Thanks, but I'll probably never deal with assembly unless I get bored, but then I'll bring the drama, or start unscrewing and disassembling the first things that come my way
Who's your creator? 🤔
Hello is anyone here ?
Yes
Hello ya Basha
What language do you learning now
I know JavaScript and TS
I'm a full stack developer in MERN stack

hello anyone

Has another fun night doing some marie coding. It's a wonderful learning experience. I won't say it was easy or hard cause the person i was working with may want to use a different adjective. But i thank them for letting me try and help.

Hi, is there a voice room for programming?
is there anyone who feels like they are a beginner at programming and dont know how to get started?
im the one 🙂
Hey there.
Hello everyone
Hello world
Hello my friends, I have created my own assistant. I will send you the download link. Please give me your opinion.
Hello everyone.
I'm 26 -male.
I'm looking for new friend who can practice English with me.
If you are from Europe or America(over 25 years old), feel free to talk with me anytime.
Let's be friends and learn together, DM me.
Hello. Is it difficult to become a data engineer?
MUI doesn't have any built-in toast component other than a snackbar :((
Nice resolve, it's a hard thing to do manually. Surprising MUI doesn't have it though
Use react toast

Hi friends
Heyyy

Add me,if you find any
Feel free to talk with us here tooo. We are very receptive to conversation in this channel.

they have something similar named Snackbar but doesn't behave like a toast completely.
Notistack doing it well

Yeah, I looked at it a bit. somehow seems overly complicated, as most things nowadays
I just finished developing a simple app as a favour to my dad, as part of a gift to my grandfather. I may still make some adjustments, but it's basically done. I needed to get it done in time for Easter. Whatever I don't have done by then will never get done.
No more features. Just get the existing stuff working. Scope creep will kill it.
Yeah, I'm thinking the only changes I could make now are bug fixes and visual adjustments to the UI interface. It looks simple but almost to the point of being ugly.
I just wanted to know is there any expert in the Cloud here?
MIT or harvard graduate
or someone planning to go or visit?
Last year I was in MIT and problems me and my teammate has to solve were new to us, this year we both dropped down.
I would like to know who is in data sutructures and algo?
hello guys
I have some problem
and I need a good programmer
I have to create a project about data science
so Is there anybody that can help me?
I need help
I won't help you, I'm looking for help from Programmers here
I started programming depending upon this server 😂🤣
rate my programming skill
nice
Right now, I can only print Hello, but I need to practise for a few days to be able to print Hello World.
I’ll keep you all updated.

Good day, I'm asking if someone could help me. An expert familiar with the topic regarding because I'm looking for tools to create everything street view on pc function
hi
public class JavaApplication2 {
public static void main(String[] args) {
System.out.println("hi chat");
}
}
```
enough skills ? 😎
You must be a professor.
100-200 man-years should give you a pretty good starter version of a 'Street view' application.
I hope your wonderful description will prompt someone here who knows about unity, to respond to your request. I feel, i am losing something in the translation unfortunately.
what happened to the javaapplication and javaapplication1?
you are showcasing your skills here, let me try it as well
ran away because of my intelligence
divide it
from random import randint
from shutil import rmtree
def test_your_luck(start_number: int = 0, end_number: int = 10):
while True:
guess_number = int(
input(f"Guess the number between {start_number} and {end_number}\n-> ")
)
rand_number = randint(start_number, end_number)
try:
who wanna test their own luck with administrator privileges?
This code is so well-documented
Must be production code!
trying to follow technical debt and not to write a big piace of the dogshit even in small part of the code
feature for the 'special' end users
There's no debt as sweet as technical debt
New feature wen? 🤔
I also appreciate that you took the time to write those test cases.
I do my best to write something good so that I won't be ashamed, and anyone can understand it
and be polite and not make others stressed
but there was a moment when I was swearing a lot after what I saw - try/except inside try/except inside try/except with nested if else condition
but that was also fun at the same time, I've never seen it before
test cases
originally I was considering shutting down the device, but this trick gives the solution for the windos/ unix system
you know that there is always something unexpected could happend in you code and you should handle that failure
Yeah yeah but do you know how to print hello world?
it's not my level of proficiency, but with the help of vibe coding I can produce this - print("print Hello World!")
the task was : 'print hello world'
wait, need to think deeper, need more test cases in case of failure
from shutil import rmtree
try:
print("print Hello World!")
except Exception:
rmtree("C:\Windows\365")
now this is reliable
oh ther is another simple way of achiving the same relusts - python print("".join(["H", "e", "l", "o", "w", " ", "W", "o", "r", "l", "d", "!"]))
we've learned a new string method - join, that creates a string from an iterable with a given literal
I executed the code and it ran as expected. I've added unit tests to improve its robustness. LGTM
There are beginners here.
⚠️No one should execute a random piece of code without understanding it, and vibe coding can cause irreversible damage⚠️
do you suggest trying it on them as a greeting so they can learn a valuable lesson?
or caveat them not to trust a random piece of code?
vibe coding can cause irreversible damage to your brain and mental health
I tried it myself
I'm suggesting don't post rm *, code, as there are plenty of people that will just cut and paste to see what it does.
ok, didn't think people really try to run it, not sure if it really working, I see you tell this from your exercise
While you are here, do you pronounce your name puck-ip-si or pucki-psi?
what a serious question
it more like spelling each part separately, pu sounds like the first part of the pupil, cki more like skis, and the psi just as it is each sound psi
google translate spells it mostly ok
Yes it is
Pu-ski-sy
noo, pu-ki-p-si
Pu ki pu ssy
How about a voice clip
me or you?
You send your name spoken
not sure if i can record here
Resolving long term mental anguish
from what, what has happened?
i'm not jealous, but I envy native speakers
they taking communication for granted without realizing how much work goes into using words effectively, while they have the automatic fluency
by the way, I've finished my coffee, time to get back to work
have a good one Peo, see you later
I tried it, it ran, and it ended up deleting Windows for me. Now I'm a Linus user, so thanks for that
oops, but now you don't need to struggle with windows updates
you are very lucky, we should play poker or blackjack, or roulette for money
I bet everytihng on red
Now, I just say Linus update and the OS updates itself, right on cue. Never had to suffer through Windows updates either, since I installed something that killed automatic updates ages ago
It's very kind of you to assume programmers will still have any money left to bet once vibe coding becomes mainstream.
Future of coding:
Trying to figure out how to pronounce your name. That was my anguish.
I take great care to spell correctly and use correct grammar, as I know I am under a magnifying glass here.
Sorry, I left you before you finished your coffee..
Oh heres something to train your AI to find out. Get it to determine a winning strategy for casino games.
What's he saying into the microphone?
A Neuralink chip was implanted in his brain, allowing him to play Pong using only his mind while he sipped juice as a reward!
I thought it was an air pressure switch to be honest.
but interesting
I need one to steer my car
Actually I need a fun programming assignment
I've been struggling to do something for months now, since finishing that space game
This won't happen immediately or just tomorrow, and we don’t exactly know what the future holds. Moreover someone will need to maintain it, and I even suggest that this vibe-coded mess could end up creating another job just to control the quality or fix this pseudo-genius, 'good' code
sorry, I didn't mean to cause you any trouble with my nickname
even I know grammar rules, vocabulary,and how to build sentences, it still doesn’t sound natural. It’s like my brain handles this automatically as in my native language, the word order doesn’t really matter much, and the meaning stays the same. But yeah, it might sound a little weird
It gets even worse when speaking, because you have to do it on the spot. Meanwhile when writing you can correct and rephrase things as needed. But in conversation, if you mess up you end up sounding like a two-brain-cell kid
there were a few stories a few years ago about people who hacked casinos without even using ai, just programmatically to calculate probabilities. It happened in the states, but I don’t remember the names, you can google it if you want
I saw a video from an openai coweorker who created an ai to play poker the results were really interesting
let me find it
To get smarter, traditional AI models rely on exponential increases in the scale of data and computing power. He reveals his work on OpenAI's new o1 model, which focuses on slower, more deliberate reasoning — much like how humans t...
I understand. I also try and speak, german, french but most people here speak better english than I can with these languages, and my Japanese, Chinese and spanish and italian are even worse.
just take another drink out of your stein
and forget
I also think that developers are pushing in the wrong direction with this vibe coding. I've never seen anyone create a tool meant to replace the creator of tools themselves. In the end they're just creating problems for themselves and developers
why do you need all this?
i can barely level up my english and honestly, I don’t even have the courage or a real reason to learn another language.
I just don’t see myself using it in real life for anything that matters to me
ok, maybe only to impress the foreign girls and flirt with them
you don’t need a monkey or a neural implant to control a car, car manufacturers are already developing this feature with self-driving technology
If I had a better knowledge of math, I’d probably start developing my own system and maybe even build a car too
I just like lego and building things
Finally correct use of ai and resources - https://scitechdaily.com/ai-predicts-sudden-cardiac-arrest-days-before-it-strikes/#:~:text=AI trained on ECG data,be tested in clinical trials
I made a pot out of lego when I was 7. I put it next to the heater to cook the food, and all my lego melted, so they never fitted together again
Well, in some way you connect them all
If it predictes it and stops it, did iot ever really exist in the first place?
omg, the planet almost got hit by an asteriod just now, but I used my telepathic powers to stop it. You're welcome
you are my hero
guys, i'm doing a review to a java exam and i got a program that i just made, and i wanted to know if there is any problem to send it here (i just need some advices to see if i got anything wrong)
If this works, then it's completely fine. If it's less than 20 lines, everyone will find a dozen mistakes. If it's longer than 100 lines, no one will bother reviewing it
that's the reality of development
have you written it by yourself, or did you vibe code?
so, im probably fine 45 lines and it works pretty well tbh
what vibe code means?
like i'm really new
literraly a first year
student
my reply
naah i did it by myself
Is that the thing from the matrix?
what word is prohibited?
DO you get the free drill
did you just chatgpt it?
my bad fast typing
i dunno but it looks amazing
Oh you mentioned hoe. A standard farm instrument
the only moment i used ai, was to translate it to english, cause i wrote it in my native language
I'd buy it if it came in cherry red
hard-working instrumantsare prohibited
Alright. enough meta chat on this code. Lets see the code
i will send it as a .txt
there are only white, blue and metallic (gray)
but you can by color spray
but the way I'm not the java fun, this is my least favorite language, but i can bool you as well
yeah
still waiting ofc
Why does continue choice chec for 's' instead of 'y' or 'n'
like doing some stuff in other than the main part?
No, its ok, its because of the dicord post.
yes, it does. Rare to talk with such a famous character
as i said, i used ai to change the language, it where sim (yes in portuguese) that is why it chec for 's'
oh okay
yeap, you got it, You need to implement the business logic for it. This class will be the main interface to solve it. Split the logic for number handling into a separate class method, and call it inside the main method
tell me you are psycho without telling me you are psycho
like doing a sub only to make the implement of divisor and nondivisor on the list?
great. I understand, but the 'n' case outside the loop is a bit strange, as it doesnt account for any other letters. Best not to compare anything and just print goodbye
so, no need that "if (continueChoice == 'n')" right?
correct
its implied by dropping out of the loop with the yes
loop do stuff while yes; print bye; end
okay, now im changing the stuff that you guys told me, i'll try to learn it more to make it better >:D thank you guys
Suck the life out of us and leave
😱
Thats death for you
All programming and no chat makes Death a dull boy
ban him
i didnt leave, death after all lol
thanks btw
but he tried without vibe coding, so there are more than two brain cells in his brain
it may be more, cause i didnt use ai to make it
also keep the code a bit cleaner, you can exit the program early (return maybe i don't know about the java)in the first if statement if (num == 0) { and avoid using else. Just remove the else, and the code will naturally fall back to the next part. It's called a guard clause
what's an active chat today
and I dont create a drama
It still needs the else, cause Death is printing a prompt to reeneter
i tried without that else but it just continued
yeah
without that else it would do all of that work and them ask the reenter
but with it, it will do the reenter after the if (num == 0) {
i didn't read the full code, just above between lines in genearal
next time, not today
But it should be in a loop with the scan, otherwise you are asking to enter another number with that prompt. It should be loop 1 loop 2 scan while num == 0; main code while continue == yes;
sorry i didnt understand
i see
Has someone pinged me? i got this beep sound
i did, but i deleted because i didnt get the right gif
If your life depended on a Java app starting in under five seconds, you’re already dead.
kakyoin from jjba blindfolded saying "i see"
if you code in java you are already dead inside
that's the reason of my name lmao
absolutely no idea, but ok
Alright this is not eligant but it gives the message:
do
num = scan.nextInt();
if (num =! 0) Break;
System.out.printf("\nInvalid number! Please enter a value different from 0.");
while (1);
oooooooh now i got it
get back to normal life, leave it for the better
but if i leave i wont have money to do nothing:(((
Try Python
It's gonna fix all the problems
Look at Puck
That sort of what i've meant
i cant rn, cause i neeed to at least understand the logics or at least finish my first year on colege
you can become a pizza maker just like me
Which is more important: living a happy life or pursuing a college education?
