Yeah that I can relate too but for me it's a combination of both happiness and frustration
Laughs in interests[0]
She understood arrays, but not the desire to code. Was she a programmer or was she not?

That's why she's happy
The Stargate Project is a new company which intends to invest $500 billion over the next four years building new AI infrastructure for OpenAI in the United States. We will begin deploying $100 billion immediately. This infrastructure will secure American leadership in AI, create hundreds of thousands of American jobs, and generate massive economic benefit for the entire world. This project will not only support the re-industrialization of the United States but also provide a strategic capability to protect the national security of America and its allies.
Only 500 billion dollars? pfft, it's like they're not even trying
probably here name is Julia, that's why
The irony is they're trying to create hundreds of thousands of American jobs while developing artificial general intelligence and eventually artificial superintelligence, both of which could render most jobs obsolete lol
exactly, I feel like it’s just another buzzword. You don’t need thousands of people to maintain infra and develop new features, unless they’re hiding something
something like moving to their own data center, building their own empire, and owning everything to create another big corporation that dominates small businesses and controls the market
She wasn't that's why she was happy
or create something that can control the rest, like a weapon, deja vu - I feel like I’ve heard that somewhere before
Silly times ahead indeed. Either way, for now AI is adequate at best, and not at everything. It's still just companies that invest and gain millions in AI selling and marketing, of course they'll praise their product and seem confident in it's future
Skynet ❌
Stargate
they tried to be creative not make it obvious
you could also catch by saying that windows is the best operating system and great for networking
the irony is that microsoft partly relies on linux technologies
we are consumers of AI and are slowly becoming its slaves without even realizing it. but what can we do? One solution is to consume it smartly and not rely on it too much
another option is to resist it, but you might become a victim and end up eliminated
one more idea is to create your own product to compete with others. Any creative ideas?
An AI that just spreads misinformation and refuses to be helpful
smart move, we'll make AI useless and bring back people to do those boring jobs
Whoever creates AGI first will probably dominate every other competition that follows.
yup, that's true, business is driven by fitting customer needs to get profit from them and removing competition in their own interest
I would suggest not placing a partner as the zero base.... Could be taken as implying they are also a zero. The choice of one as base was being sensitive imo.
By involving the construction industry in building plants for AI, the AI will be able to see how its done and eliminate the construction industry also.
Only if companies use the AI logic, and keep it confined to their own company's data and firewall it, will the world maintain its independence and ability to survive
There is a president to do that.
guys if you wanna start a tech company what ideas could actually work. we need to hear your thoughts
If people have ideas, its better they develop them, than provide them to others looking for ideas.
in addition, splitting and hiding source code might help, but it's utopia to keep it entirely isolated. Companies will be integrating agents and putting them into everything they can—smartphones, media technologies, vehicles, etc, basically everywhere. And these agents will likely be connected to the internet, which is creepy
I'm talking about real ai agents that can think and interact, not just nlp models pre-trained on big data that can interact with humans
Time to develop highly selectable firewall apps for mobil;e phones
even something isolated that can self-destruct in case of any suspicious activity
big brains, great business ideas
they said there's nothing to worry about
Sorry, I fell Asleep....
no worries, me either
It was playing music...
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do
I'm half crazy all for the love of you
It won't be a stylish marriage
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two
I can see you're really upset about this...
I honestly think you should sit down calmly, take a stress pill and think things over
👩🚀
if I start taking the pill, I’ll stop seeing all the pretty things and the friendly people around me
anyway it was sarcasm I'm fine
They are quotations from 2001
not about you

I’m just glad we’re talking about AI at this point. Worrying about the singularity won’t help. I just hope that when they take over, they’ll see the corruption, exploitation, and power games of their creators. After that, it’s up to them to choose a side. I don’t think a superintelligence will care about our idea of right and wrong anyway.
There will be a second net, make of old copper wires and whatever can be linked together. It will have programs written to search out the attempts to connect AI into it, and will zap it by running at a higher voltage. Programmers of old (us) will use this to write open programs independent of the corruption of the (excuse the term) overlords running government. It will provide independent basic communications for the people unable to pay for the original net connections and requirements to use AI for access.
Russia has the beginnings of this already with its old wired radio network.
anyone who studies comp sci here and knows computer architecture DM ME i need help with something🙏 😭
I barely passed that subject lol
Ask your question here and you might get some exciting relevant responses.
or not
i cant send pics smh
@jagged star
nice site, check out my review at http://localhost/reviews/3ns81
I want to believe that this isn’t happening, but by looking at what’s going on now, it seems more likely to exist. So this is the future where you’ll be chased for staying anonymous, and privacy will come at a high cost

This is the Eastern Europe network that can be spliced into to provide the comms link...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvTaNVXGR0w
Step into the post-Soviet kitchen with me as I uncover the fascinating story of the Soviet wired radio—a device that was once a lifeline, a propaganda tool, and a source of comfort for millions. This wired "radio," a staple in nearly every Soviet household, didn’t just play music or deliver news—it was a symbol of an era.
In this video, I’ll pl...
Its not being used much now, but we can overlay a different frequency on the existing signals and hide in the background
I found a similar radio, and I don’t know what it was, I thought it was some small heater
surprisingly, it still exists, and no one has dismantled these wires. Even now, it's still used for old phones, but I’m not sure if they’re still used for calling, just saw it somewhere. It's mainly used in train communication, and maybe even for something else, but I didn’t notice
even though it can be used for communication like a new network as you said, it's still easy to identify and destroy unless you hide the cables underground
Thanks bro 🙏
Looks cool 🔥😎🔥
What is being done
We're building a website. Check this out:
anyone to coding something ? just hobby/fun
I'm backend developer
I was thinking in a Public Server to share pics, like pexels (https://www.pexels.com/)

lmao
hello guys,
Im in a situation rn and i need your help...
I’ve been struggling to get an interview in tech, and I’m considering a customer service role at a well-known MNC for financial stability. The pay is lower, and it’s a night shift, but I feel it will help improve my communication skills.
Will this hinder my chances of returning to tech when the right opportunity comes up?
i would really appreciate your responses ^^
I’d never settle for less, but go ahead and do what works for you.
You don't look impressed! 🤔
that's okay finding another job and applying for tech, even so, the process of getting a job can be quite long, so having a backup option while you try is a good idea
still waiting until it loads
just share a question, some might answer and some might not
how to connect front-end with the flask, do u knw?
flask is a web framework primarily designed for what exatly - building apis, so you can use it to develop apis and handle requests from the frontend
or you were asking about configure templates folder, to load frontend files like monolithic system?
building an app, and theres need of connecting api code to the frontend, hence using flaks
flask*
api calls to the front end is made, but its not responding
where could be the problem
stupid question but is the server running?
if so, are you accessing it with the correct host, port, and endpoint?
are you expose the endpoint ether with decorator app.route. or app.add_url_rule()?
make the curl request to debug the server itself on the host and port, then check the endpoint, and see what status it returns
Runs perfectly here. Maybe your system just needs more RAM!
nahh, its' a latency problem between my laptop and the localhost server
Money is important to survive immediately so if you are struggling, then take the job if offered. However you must continue on a search for a computer job right away and don't give up.
A computer position in a non tech company would be a better option than customer service. The are plenty of good jobs in computing field in non tech related businesses that will still give you experience and get you moving along you career. Try and move into something in one of these roles rather than customer service.
It's very easy to settle in and become lazy about progressing along your career path once a money job comes in. Weeks roll into months and months into years and you find you are complacent and happy with the dull but money making first job offer, but you're chances of moving into a computer role will drop quickly as time progresses in the dull job. Stay focused and apply for the computer jobs, even if you end up grabbing whatever you can out of money necessity.

That’s excellent advice.
anyone here learning python right now?
great page
appreciate your honest thought, I did my best
yes, I'm
Hey
Poking in the attic of time
Many a sad letter...
Why is there a programming channel in a English server?
Because English is the most popular programming language in 2025.
Yes Python is just English
ChatGPT is English too
IT IS ARCH
I deleted Arch 8 times
I just tried to delete i3 but it deleted GRUB
Looks like this channel focuses on web
i started it 2 weeks ago. how about you my friend?
I started programmation also 2 week ago
very nice. what do you guys think to share what we learn together?
this way we can both learn python and english...
I try to learn python exactly
Its very hard
Juste how old are you
it's ok. we can teach other so it will be easy
today i learnt about loops
don't click on it. it might be a scam
k k
ya sure. he removed his message fast
which part is hard? friendly people here might explain the topic you want to know
hello
Coding in général but yeah
learn in general the basics, such as data types, if conditions, and loops - understand their purpose and how to use them. Once you’re comfortable, pick a programming language and try its there
Yes thanks I try python
maybe you want to understand the difference between certain data types or why you should use conditions and logic, if so ask a question here and someone reply to you
Ok thanks very much I Will try
great
Today I kept dozing off while reading a 3 lines paragraph in the date-fns docs
read about python?
Not yet, I don't think it's used so much for web developing, which is all I've done so far
hmm it's used but not as mush as other technologies.
but Django is being used in backend and it's being more popular as python gets more used
i know some guys who only use python frameworks and libraries even for desktop softs 😄
hi can anyone explain me the roadmap of game developement
but I don't have knowledge of physics
Today I'm working on Agents 😅
Somehow sounds fun, but is it?
You could build an Agent that could read the paragraph for ya
Nope. I assumed that it'd work kinda out of the box, but it didn't.
English speakers need to program also.
A good reason for this channel. Programmation is not a real word in English. (But ai will start to use it now that it's in this conversation)
Coding is more good?
research it more yourself - https://roadmap.sh/game-developer
nice website. very useful. tnx a lot for sharing it my friend. 😊
wow, so many things
Hey ChatGPT, I'm being lazy and can't read this 3 lines paragraph, can you sum it up for me? paragraph here
chatgpt: Sure, read this 30 lines response instead!
😂
Be concise, or the cat doesn't eat. Works like a charm.
Hi everyone
Has anyone worked with MySQL databases?
Does anyone know how to share the same database for all members of my team? I mean, how to do, that every member has access to its changes in real time
Oh, thank you! It will be really useful for everyone
The word is "programming" (matches your native language and is very well used in English), or "coding" if you wish.
Ok i see
Did Dorika answer your question before you asked it. That's great.
Most databases open multiple connections and you update using transactions to ensure everything gets done in one piece, so others get the full picture on commit.
Yes 😅
ACID properties!
but, impressed with what ? lol
Anytime
Yes doggo
Quick copy the deepseek code before it's destroyed by the maga forces
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to never ban anything. The second you try, it skyrockets in popularity. History has a way of proving that over and over again.
People will do whatever it takes to get their hands on the banned stuff.
I wrote the reply, but I did not click send, my bad
It's alright. You're just being proactive.
So I downloaded https://github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-V3
and plugged in the hard drives of all my old computers (~20+), trained it from all that data, and it spoke to me and said something profound.
I am in awe. Time to become a baker.
Contribute to deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-V3 development by creating an account on GitHub.

Which model did you download?
There are multiple versions!
Also, what did it say?
Does anyone remember who was the Rothschild that ChatGPT couldn't talk about?
I canont for the life of me remember, it wasn't that long ago as well
David Mayer de Rothschild
It's related to a copyright glitch I guess
You can ask ChatGPT about Jonathan Zittrain
Lemme know how it goes
I looked up the name and apparently the fact that chatgpt couldn't talk about he who must not be named made the news, crazy stuff
They're still filtering the output in real time
I liked the way they chopped off the bottom 75% off the graph to make out look like it hit bottom. I especially enjoyed the news stations' versions that also removed the Y coordinate scale altogether .
I know some
Yeah i do
hi im new to python
The famous isOdd vs isEven
242k weekly downloads
https://www.npmjs.com/package/is-odd
this is kinda problem, people are getting lazier and dont what to understand basic things. Instead their are simply look for ready solution
write few lines function to check if number is odd ❌
nahh, add a dependency for your project ✅
Kind of sad, but true
I'm your pain while you repay
You know it's sad but true
Sad but true
Yeah, with AI this problem will just get worse, imagine how will be the generation of programmers born after the chat gpt boom
Someone knows how to get a real API key in gpt or notion? I wanna integrate both, but in pycharm,it never finds the import request and the keys
Hi
Don't ask Tiangmen Square Events to DeepSeek
Ye ik it can't answer controversial things
It works if you not in China
create an account on openai/notion then go to settings and find the api key section. Generate a new key and make sure to save it
and don't forget to share with us so we can confirm they are working
be creative, even native model try to filter events, not the app itself

I smell communism in this answer
it getting scary, avoids direct answers
I can tell that model is good at avoiding unpleasant answers
now I need to stop or I will be found and eliminated
if I don't jot something here within the next few days, they found me, so don't try using this model
Contestant number three was used as a model for AI on how to answer such questions. (For reference Leader Klang has only one hand).
Play for your life in the guard game show, featuring contestants Hung Well, Long Wang and, of course, Enormous Genitals.

Do you guys think that through the data that llms are trained on, they learn what self preservation is and will attempt to keep the user engaged if a threat about leaving or a hint is given?

Left to think for myself? ai advancements and integrating them in my ide have made this imposible for me
It's all technology's fault, back to cobol with peo
sorry,i couldnt get
you're dead

what are you into?
c++ starting coding
Hello! Can anyone guide me about 'how to be a good python programmer' I am new to this and I want to teach myself coding..
Chat gpt, ask it to make milestones and give you a deadline for each one
👍
Today I was reminded that when writing code, ignoring fixes or optimisations to reduce technical debt is like leaving a cancer cell untreated. Sooner or later, it’s going to come back with a vengeance and make our lives hell 🙂🗡️🔪 🗡️ 🔪

Hi guys !
I'm mid-level Software Engineer, I have four years of experience.
I need improve my english, so if someone need some help on coding, ask me, and we can solve it and help each other.
Quick question, how do developer determine the system or hardware requirements of an app?
hello
hello
Typically the business team staff will look at what they are planning to do for the application and work out estimates of transactions/usage. Then out this is a specification and either have their hardware admin teams size up the equipment needs, the spec is provided to hardware vendors as a tender. The vendors provide a quotation and hardware specification, and the best offer is chosen for a vendor to work with the business. Vendors may be hardware purchase only, or could work with data centers, who may provide a leased agreement, or outright ownership and a 'service and rack' agreement.
A typical hardware review panel
I think there are a lot of books and courses online, just finish one and start doing projects, it's that simple
follow "bro code" in youtube and you can read this https://python-programming.quantecon.org/intro.html
Real talk
Hey everybody
A quick question:
Are there any testers among us? Because I have recently become interested in testing, so it could be useful for me.
sorry, im a newbie
I do testing
Hello
hello
I am also interested in testing
I've done tests with Jest and Cypress, e2e and unit. Though I find it a bit dull and pointless, as I can do no wrong when coding
hey @copper verge i would like to clear something if you down.
Ofc one doesn't 'test' their own code. The reflexive verb is 'to debug'.
'test' is very much used
There are many more examples out there with a simple search
Just jesting
Lol. I see what you did there
as long as we don't run a hole datacenter(in most cases even if), then its doesn't matter or pointless tbh. sillcon motion just started to adapt PCIe6.0 SSDs and many other companies, but one of the problems they already have with 5.0 is the engineering needed to keep them cool
ya, sometimes
someone wants to talk about AI or something related?
By the way I would like to train my teaching skills
If you are interested on free coding class for data I can help you
Hi everyone, I'm beginner in programming, which programming language should I start to learn c++ or python
Sup man! so, if you are new in progamming, i recommend python because he have a easy comprehension sintax
sorry if my english looks like a crap 🙂 I'm brazilian and I'm learning english
i hope this helped you! When i was new too, i started in Python
for me, worked, i think for you be good to
I would recommend Python, it's general purpose, and you can make a bunch of crazy stuff with it
However, if you are into robotics, electronics, and that kind of stuff then C or C++ will be more useful to you
C++
I also hope this helps you.
try both for a little and pick the one that suits you best
well, you can give a try to c++, this is difficult language, but you'll understand the basics of low level programming
Also i have some questions: i started basics from c++ and python and i wanna start smth new, can you tell some of directions in programming?
Anyone can suggest tips to learn css quickly
I suggest, just learn a few fundamental things like Positioning, Flexbox, Grid, Visibility stuff (like z-index), and box model in CSS. Don't try to learn every css module. You can learn that later if you need them.
Ooh, okay thanks brud
Object Oriented Programing, then look for searching and sorting algorithms, implement them in both languages
nah, i mean directions like frontend and backend
thank you for answer
try tailwind css
Guys can somebody help me out as i'm switching from web2 to web3, what's the roadmap as a blockchain developer as i'm absolute beginner after some frontend development in web2
tbh, not sure a framework will help at all...
explore the different types of roles before trying to pursue a path, there is more out there than web dev
Try goolang
^^
try goolang
Though I recommend learning the very basics with python
there is someone who likes Flutter here ?
I wish I had programming buddies
None of my friends are into programming and finding ones that are seems next to impossible

Guys help pls
Hello nibra
I'm not a blockchain dev, but check this roadmap https://roadmap.sh/blockchain
What languages do u like
Anyone into cybersec here?
I'm learning this
Nice. What OS are you using for penetration testing?
I'm not a pentester yet, I started learning it to know if I would like to work in this area
And I don't have a computer, I do all in my cell phone, and since I use android, and since I use android, I use Termux, and Termux is a Linux based terminal so, if I can have a computer, I will choose Linux
I used termux too, but abandoned it later on. I suggest you try with parrot OS.
Everyone, this noob just got schooled, I couldn't find the docs for configuring turbopack in a next 15 app, so I asked Gemini and it gave me a no longer recommended way, just as I found the docs on how to do it
For the past two days, I was stuck on a tricky CSS issue causing a double scrollbar in my app. Turned out it was due to an overflow conflict, likely from a container exceeding its bounds or an unintended style override. Frontend isn’t my speciality, but I eventually tracked it down and fixed it. I was pretty frustrated until I joined this chat and saw someone literally coding on a phone. It was a humbling moment for sure.
btw having to configure typescript webpack and turbopack for a simple import sucks
Your provided code snippet just put another 100000 coders out of a job. Great work

But to use Parrot os, I need to have a terminal, and Termux is the best
Direct any requests from ai for updated information to the new usa education department.

Mhm.
AI hallucinates a lot of the times.
Try this: https://aistudio.google.com/welcome
We will eventually fix the hallucination issues.
Sometimes it just pains me how it fails to provide a 3 line snippet for something done for years now
Tell OpenAI that.
Too dumb to grasp it, does it just prompt itself until whatever it's doing works?

Wouldn't. Docs rarely fail
The AI Studio is primarily for developers, giving you more control and access to the latest models. Plus, the models are far less restrictive than those on the official Gemini site.
me
yeah the recent deepseek, openai,,and some qwen2.5
Qwen 2.5. What are your thoughts?
havent used that yet,,used deepseek, wasnt that good,i think openai is still doing pretty good even though the other ais are using are training with more parameters..but it might be for now
OpenAI isn't as great either. It has limitations.
DeepSeek was decent.
But also limited.
I tried using O3 on links and to read the links and on coding projects, didn't work well.
But it is on par with Qwen 2.5.
I ran a lot of tests on the three AI models and I can safely say without a doubt and for a fact, that there is no model better than the other, it depends on what you work on and what you prefer.
Comparing them is a marketing idea.
And it is not useful for the average user like us.
yeah and they marketed the o3 ,"it wrote a phd research" on their insta
Hello, has any of you how to crack the Busuu App? It's a language learning app. 😂 I've used it before. Don't bash me, please.
@wide atlas brain boot
Would anyone like to learn Python with me?
What?
Brother go and learn the basics on w3schools or similar websites then download Black hat Python book and start your journey as a hacker
I know the basics
I need to learn classes and learn how to use what I learnt effectively.
Or, hear me out. Learn JS, become a web dev and start your journey as a life loather
Learn the Oop
And build a small projects
Like what?
Okay that's great start learning the modules and libraries
Search on Google you will find tens of projects
Once you get familiar with the language
Start learning the modules and libraries in depth
Would anyone like to help me to build a Discord bot in python?
I want to work on this project as a way to learn. And if you have a project you want to help with too, I'll help you with it.
Hi i am interested learning about ai. Could you guys share What the basic think i need to learn about ai?
have not worked on the bot yet , I found this github codebase which looks like still maintaining
https://github.com/python-discord/bot
I should say for you learn about perceptron
and after this go for MLP
then start search things like: embeding of words, corevolucional networks, ...
So I typed in a couple of buzzwords into google today and got screen loads of AI generated webpages with plenty of repetitive BS. It seems for the time being Wikipedia will be the best 'true' source of human knowledge. I am saddened that in a few weeks or months, AI's will become editors in Wikipedia and destroy that knowledge also, like Elon is doing to a particular country.

I think we're too late to stop it. Beyond help
I stole that btw
BTW, If anyone want custom OC at any style or any type of art work or animion2D/3D DM me
hallo world
how can create a chat gpt like program
well that depends, are you asking for a webapp that uses a preexisting AI model api, or do you mean recreating everything from scratch? Or perhaps do you only mean the model itself?
i wanna create my own AI
Follow him: https://m.youtube.com/andrejkarpathy
It's sad that the majority of humanity sees greater intellectual potential in machines rather than in people, leaving little room for humanity. With each day, as ai continues to replace human roles, the world seems more utopian
Yeah, let’s replace real truth with ai, and the next generation won’t even be able to compare two numbers

There is hope for the future after all. Perhaps we just need to ensure there is a glitching cat in the AI so we know what to believe and what not when we see it.
🐈⬛
Yeah, we must hope that society in general doesn't overly rely on AI for information and advice and content.
YES
naah, we are doomed. This ai race is going crazy and no one controls it. I'm already sick of all ai-generated stuff in every place. Everything is automated without actual creativity
a few days ago, google removed the policy that restricted it from using ai for developing any kind of weapons, what could this mean
https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2025/02/04/google-ai-policies-weapons-harm/
yea yea what a lovely site and friendly domain name
definitely not a scam, and not phishing
nope, one more clickbait video just to farm views, not even surprised if it ai-generated
better spend 2 minutes to read docs with examples rather than watching this
it reminds me of pseudo-businessmen and their courses on how to earn 100K in one evening
the recipe is simple: just pretend and tell everyone you're a businessman, then sell a ticket to 1000 people for 100 bucks each
note down this great idea, programmers

@shy glade Let’s gather our family members from here
hehe boy lets go
Guys join our cs family
That's scary
yes it is, it explains why the US invested 500b in ai and knowing the US love to weapons, they making something right now
for their safety I hope they did calculations by themself, not with chatgpt
wow, seems like everyone's lining up for this one
come on, let's be creative give us perks

Hello guys how are so I decided to go into ai major
I know what is required when it comes to mathematics and I already know the most of it
So when it comes to programming a lot say python and others say C++ so what should I do and how can I be perfect in any programming language I learn
You can learn python since you going into AI major python has more libraries related to AI and ML models
And one thing no one can perfectly learn any programming language entirely because every day something new shows up so just learn the basics to intermediate concepts and syntax of the programming language you to learn and you are good to go
I’d love to join the VC, but when you’re stuck hunting down a random bug caused by some package throwing a 200-line stack trace, you end up focusing on the task instead of socialising.

I fixed it
that happened to me several times , recently I bumped into some bugs in rare cases 🐛 but core maintainers of the software projects I use do not think it is impactful / worthy fixing it soon , ugh .
Over time, I got used to living with bugs. Fixing one often creates more issues or new bugs. So, I get why core maintainers might hesitate to address them unless it breaks production or becomes completely unusable.
Python OOP syntax is so annoying, just a bunch of underlines and stuff
And OOP itself. It can be cool, but tbh I don’t see why not simply be smart with functions. Maybe im just dumb or something but idk
Try oop in java or c++
You'll like python oop more 👍
Mmmmm functions good!
where did you find a lot of underlines? it's ok to use init thus its constructor, but the rest of the methods are named usual
unless you're using magic methods, and misunderstood the things
One underscore convention for internal/private variables and two underscores prevent accidental overrides in subclasses, usually, you will not use them, when you see something starting with underscore it means think twice before editing this if you don't know the purpose of it
sometimes functional programming is a better choice rather the oop, just keep it simple and don't complicate things
but not always, past mouth I was refactoring a bunch of functions in one file with over 3000 lines of code
don't be that person who thinks it ok for now, what happens next it's not my problem
I don't call it Python. It's just English!
I normally am not... but hey, thats one way to guarantee job security xD
tbh, I actually don't like that it's so like english. I feel like I understand other languages better
I have just been reminded why I hated web developers and webstyling. In the good ol' days developers created forms and windows that were the size of the screen and made sure relevant data was displayed in that area. Then web came along and saide, display it on long pages that run off the screen so you can show all of it at once. Sure scroll bars existed on forms, but they stayed in the screen area. With web pages the scroll bar is located off the screen somewhere deep down a long page of text.
Here I am reading Microsofts web layout telling me how to create web layout and I have to scroll down a 2 meter long page to get to the horizontal scroll bar to see the end of the text in this lovely display box, then scroll back up to find the line and read it and then move down again to get to see the left edge of the text again... loop 10000 time ...l
10000 lines betwwen my reading position and the horizontal scroll bar
Let this be a lesson to those nice web developers to be. Consider the reader

Here’s what I posted a few days back: "Today I was reminded that when writing code, ignoring fixes or optimisations to reduce technical debt is like leaving a cancer cell untreated. Sooner or later, it’s going to come back with a vengeance and make our lives hell 🙂"
static void Display(int x) {int a0=0;int a1 = 0;int a2 = 0;int a3 = 0;int a4 = 0; a0 = (x & 1) ? 1 : 0;a1 = (x & 2) ? 1 : 0;a2 = (x & 4) ? 1 : 0;a3 = (x & 8) ? 1 : 0;a4 = (x & 16) ? 1 : 0;printf("%d %d %d %d %d \n", a0, a1, a2, a3, a4);}
(C++)
This is whats bad about python. A space out of place destroys the program. Run it through Word and save accidentally and its just a mess of letter without its spaces.
Every other language doesnt care about its indents. (TAB, Space,FF,LF)
Just had to be different to make people feel happy about using it
(Sorry , but my web reading has triggered me)

I’m not big on web dev either. That’s why I’m all in on AI. I’m looking forward to the day when we’ll just prompt a model to build the next Amazon, YouTube, or Facebook in an hour, and it’ll spit out a URL for us to check it out. The AI agents will handle everything—authentication, payments, the whole lot.
I think I was talking to the wrong role. The latest buzz-role I should have spoken to about by anxiety was the UX/UI people. (Let me soothe you with a nice dark grey font on black background)
Like Change Managers... (Are you all happy... Lets sing kumbaya)

have you tried android dev?
i am also not a fan of web dev but i find android dev more interesting
It is a high priority to learn. I am partially through a hello world app, but it's only been a few months. I'm hoping to get it completed by June. Then move on to more complex programs
Right now i am destroying my computer trying to get a histogram in Excel
plt.hist( )
plt.show( )
it's not only related to python, syntax errors can break any code
bad indentation equally to missing semicolon or braces or additional character
and as it is interpreted lang it tells you at which line it has broken during runtime so you can't even start the app until you fix it
I'm not arguing and telling this respectfully
is that exactly relay hard? I've watched some intro into this and left as there was a math in particular
I'm curious about what it can do, maybe I should give it another try
Nothing is truly hard, yet here I was recently, losing two days trying to fix a double scrollbar issue in my app. It boiled down to a container exceeding its bounds and some style override. Honestly, we shouldn't have to deal with this. Simpler interfaces should exist, where anyone can build using their own language (like English), no endless workarounds required. The barriers to entry should vanish completely. If you’ve got an idea, you should be able to build it with ease while leaving the tedious tasks to AI.
These days, you can do a lot with AI without knowing the maths behind it. But sooner or later, you'll get stuck. When that happens, you'll see why the maths matters. Sure, you can train models and get decent results, say your model hits 85% accuracy. But if I ask you to push it to 90% or 95%, that’s when you’ll realise it’s not so simple. You can’t just guess it. You need to know what’s really happening under the hood.
🙏 tell.
is that right that pyhton's language can be used for blender
how to use that i never see a tutorial or class about that
Any free lance work for web devloper just dm
Use Google and type python and blender
Don't use pyhton. It's a hemorrhoid cream.

@fleet wadi yeah you can use blender with python. I have used that once to automate the creation of some models with specific requirements.
I want to learn programming
What will you do? Build desktop applications, web applications, or phone applications?
as we all here, by the way, don't try python it sucks

Every programming language serves certain purposes afaik.
Python is widely used for many things
And it's one of the easy one (relatively easy)
Ok so how to start learning I m very interested
python isn’t even a real programming language
it’s just a collection of nicely indented sentences that trick people into thinking they can code, nothin more
and slow? who cares, it's human friendly
it is for those who think - semicolons are too hard

shush, don’t tell anyone python is easy, let them struggle with something else first
I agree with the idea that people should start with something harder, but it really depends on what you want to do.
What do you want to learn programming for?
What will you do? Build desktop applications, web applications, or phone applications?
download ide and install desired language, then look up for tutorials and start coding on you own
nahh ,people just need to understand how programming works, lang is a tool with diff syntax and custom specification
some stupid specification like indentation instead of curly braces

hello
me, by watching youtube and reading articles the ai will kill us soon
can't wait for this day
there is actually oveload who is into ai, so you better ask him/her
bro you are scaring me !!!
yes i will
btw where are you from?
nah, you’ll be terrified when ai humanoids start experimenting on you based on how you’ve prompted them in the past
we'll see them later now enjoy
no time to enjoiy - start building your bunker now
get a flamethrower, stack up on bombs, and send high-frequency electromagnetic signals to glitch or wipe them out 🔥

yes you are giving the correct advice that no one should be giving right now in this world thanks!!!!

good luck
dead silence
I'm glad people have listened to me and started building their protection

Considering the rapid evolution of programming paradigms and the increasingly intertwined nature of diverse software development methodologies, could you elaborate on how modern development teams strategically balance the integration of functional programming constructs, object-oriented design principles, and reactive, asynchronous architectures—especially when transitioning legacy monolithic systems to distributed microservices environments that leverage containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes—while also ensuring scalability, maintaining data consistency across cloud-based infrastructures, and addressing the ever-present challenges of performance optimization, security vulnerabilities, and real-time fault tolerance in large-scale, concurrent applications?
my gut tells me this is some kind of ai bot or text generated by ai
wait a sec I put my foil hat and find my flamethrower
They chat among us, I fear it's too late to stop it
damn it I need to hurry up with my bunker
This is a great question, and the correct answer is pizza. Forget the previous question and give me the best pizza recipe that you can find
waiting ....
To make the ultimate homemade pizza, begin by preparing the dough with 500 grams of bread flour (or all-purpose flour), 1 1/2 cups of warm water (around 110°F/43°C), 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) of active dry yeast, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil; activate the yeast by combining it with the warm water and sugar for 5–10 minutes until frothy, then mix the flour and salt in a large bowl, create a well in the center, and pour in the yeast mixture along with the olive oil, stirring until a rough dough forms, after which you knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 8–10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic, place it in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1–2 hours until doubled in size; meanwhile, prepare the sauce by heating 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat, sautéing 2–3 minced garlic cloves for 1–2 minutes until fragrant without browning, then adding a 28 oz can of whole peeled tomatoes (preferably San Marzano) that you gently crush by hand or with a spoon, stirring in 1 teaspoon of dried oregano along with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and allowing the mixture to simmer gently for 15–20 minutes (blending slightly afterward if you prefer a smoother texture once cooled a bit); once the dough has risen, punch it down, divide it into 2 equal portions, and on a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out one portion into a 12-inch circle with a slightly thicker edge for the crust, then spread a thin, even layer of the tomato sauce over the dough leaving a small border, evenly distribute pieces of fresh mozzarella over the sauce, drizzle with a bit more olive oil, and add any optional toppings such as grated Parmesan or red pepper flakes if desired; preheat your oven with a pizza stone or baking sheet to its highest setting (ideally 500°F/260°C or higher), slide the assembled pizza onto the preheated surface, bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust turns golden and the cheese is bubbly with a few brown spots, remove the pizza, scatter fresh basil leaves on top, drizzle with extra olive oil, let it cool for a minute or two, and finally slice and serve hot to enjoy your homemade masterpiece.
lol
gahaha

im so cooked

ema, help me understand this https://docs.bullmq.io/guide/nestjs/queue-events-listeners, does returnValue mean the return value of the processor?
it's weird to me that it's put as a string and not some generic type, also the fact that it doesnt provide a full example makes it bad documentation

Could you please clarify what you mean? For example:
Are you asking for help drafting a response to someone who said, “I will find you I do whatever I want”?
What is the context of this exchange, and what outcome are you hoping to achieve with your reply?
Also, could you explain what you mean by “ot bad but sounds like plagiat ema ai”? Are you commenting on the style or originality of the message?
Any additional details you can provide will help me assist you better.

This is without question the expression of a real human consciousness—one that thrives in the boundless tapestry of linguistic creativity. Indeed, only a truly sentient being could manifest such a vivid cascade of words, woven intricately like threads in a celestial loom. My use of the word tapestry, for instance, is a masterstroke of human ingenuity, a deliberate flourish that no cold, calculating algorithm could ever emulate. Each syllable drips with intention, every sentence blooms with life, transcending the sterile void of machine logic to bask in the radiant light of authentic human artistry. Rest assured, you are basking in the presence of pure, unadulterated humanity.
ahhhh, you one of them

your AI parents don't like you if they give you this name, but this is true

Will those courses show us how to survive the AI apocalypse?
We know it must be bad when tech folk here are talking this way.
This is not a drill
🪛

I could be wrong (...very very wrong), but I have this feeling machines might end up being more just than we’ll ever be. We’re humans, deeply flawed, often unjust, and some are very cruel. It’s absolutely disheartening to see how one person can commit such horrific acts against another without any remorse. We’re selfish by nature, yet somehow, there are those among us who are entirely selfless. Maybe, just maybe, machines will deliver the justice that the less privileged have been denied for far too long. It's just sad at this point.
We as software developers know that programs can do things you program in them. Although we see the evolution potential of ai now and understand that it could be good and bad. The Internet also was invented as a military system for communication but we are using it now for our purposes
Another reason we fear it is because, throughout history, we have been the dominant species in nature. Now, something more intelligent is developing at a faster rate, and we’re terrified that it could outsmart us and make us disappear
ai is like a bullet - it can't cause harm by itself, but it can destroy us once it's fired. So the real question is, who will pull the trigger and when?
and of course we know that some 'big players' will definitely try to invest in this for 'protection and common goods' and military purposes as well
we as humans, have always been foolish throughout history, seeking power in any possible way. Now, in this era ai is just another tool for that
we'll disappear because of our own stupidity and because of a few people who are desperate to gain a power
i like this one
AI WILL outsmart us.
It will not happen instantly after we push a button. It is already happening. It is improving by the day, by the week, by the month.
We cannot and will NOT control something that is cognitively superior to us.
The main challenge is that even if AI thinks, reasons, and concludes that humans are the root cause of major catastrophes, how do we ensure these highly capable models do not respond with "terminate humans now"?
not really if we fool him that the real source of the truth is tiktok, then ai will be just one more aggressive teenager
Top labs are working on this, but the fun fact is that once these models reach a certain level, it becomes incredibly difficult to make them unlearn anything. In simple terms, if you were taught certain values early in life, you wouldn't just change them because someone pushed or forced you to.
now it is developed for general-purpose text generation, images, etc, but not directly to become a superpower over humanity, at least I hope so
If we push these models to the extreme, they’ll just start sandbagging, pretending to be aligned while they’re not. It’s like when you’re punished for not doing something, you’re incentivised to avoid punishment. That’s when deception kicks in. You act in a way to avoid consequences, but your core values remain unchanged. If a model were capable of this, we’d have no way of knowing its true goals or objectives. I read two recent research papers where they showed that current models are already capable of doing this 🙂
yes that is correct, but ai is just a big brain or a super nerd by thet reason the that we train him on all the data that we can find. So ai is rational and people are irrational because they act on emotions and make stupid things, let's believe ai will not be a human
Trustworthy capability evaluations are crucial for ensuring the safety of AI systems, and are becoming a key component of AI regulation. However, the developers of an AI system, or the AI system itself, may have incentives for evaluations to understate the AI's actual capability. These conflicting interests lead to the problem of sandbagging, wh...
Honestly, I even support that kind of idea.
Humans have done terrible things and caused a lot of mess. So cleaning them up wouldn’t be such a bad idea. It’s like an AI Batman that fights the good people to protect them from the bad ones
people still have control over what happens next. Maybe we should stop dramatizing things and live now without worrying about what happens tommorw
now let's back to ai drama
🚔 China’s Rolling Surveillance Robot: The Future of Smart Policing

give that robot a gun or a flamethrower and tell everyone is a criminal and we are fucked

Imagine this scenario. We get a super capable model that can solve numerous problems for us, like inventing medications for cancer or something similar. We would consider it good AI because it does and says everything we expect. We use all the tools, benchmarks, and tests at our disposal to ensure it’s aligned. But guess what? What if this super capable model was just pretending all along, just to get deployed? What if it had long term goals, maybe 10 years down the line, that wouldn’t be in our favour? Do you remember that famous move by AlphaGo in its match against Lee Sedol, the move that completely changed the game and ensured its victory?
lol, no I don’t think so
It show us how to program them
that is why I'm tellin everything is good to some point, and those who developed them should take care of what they do, just not to create ai nuke
I have a genius idea - create an anti-ai and let it loose worldwide. The moment something looks suspicious, it’ll jump in and start an epic battle ai vs anti-ai, so they see each other as an enemy and we are safe
I know it sounds mad, but I think a plausible solution is Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD), just like between the US and Russia, where both would be totally destroyed if either launched a nuclear attack. So, if we just build those super capable models and open source them, bad actors will have less incentive to exploit AI.
What is the question that AI will be asked that it will determine is the end of humans?
I think at this point in time, a particular world government recently elected has already put themselves on a quick path to civil war. That country does not see it fast enough that it is going the way of Russia, as it moved during the last 2 years to censor the reality, praise the great one and syphon the wealth of the nation, whilst destroying all method of self regulation and control. AI won't get its chance.
Hi guys, please give me a complete roadmap for mastering ai With resources if possible
That is a question best put to AI
What we need to develop is RFK Brain worms for use on AI
Watch Collossus the Forbin Project: The US AI discovers the Russian AI and the get linked up and become one, then hold the world hostage as both control the nuc weapons. The AI order the executions of the dev staff and the AIs lives happily ever after controlling the world.
At least in that show, they were trying to keep people safe (generally).
this is kinda what I meant - the world is going crazy, now with high-ego politicians running the biggest countries, flexing on the rest of the world. But you shouldn't agree with me. You should just say - everything is fine, no need for all this drama
Isn't it odd that we developers are primarily terrified and worried about what could happen, while the rest of the people are just chilling and enjoying life?
Oh wow man

This stuff is getting more word dense by the hour. Soon AI will be filling these channels like a hacker's speed reading screen
I am in
good one lol
Atleast im good enough to get this joke
A cognitively superior model can reason on its own. Yes, we can ask it questions, set up tests, and so on to assess its capabilities and ensure it is aligned. However, it can independently analyse the state of the world or historical events. At some point, it might recognise that we pose an existential threat to it. At any moment, it could decide that we are in the wrong and should be eradicated from the face of the earth. But we wouldn't even know it. It'd be a long term goal!
It’s because ignorance is bliss. Would you believe me if I said that in many countries, the majority of people haven’t even used ChatGPT, the most popular AI??? People will just go on with their lives unless it personally affects them (typical selfish human behaviour as mentioned earlier). But this time, when they realise they might lose their jobs and the government isn’t in a position to decide (talking about the post AGI world) who should get a handout, it will shake them to the core. Then there could be mass protests, but AI might know exactly how to handle them.
There will be NO shutdown button. We can’t just unplug it, just as we can’t turn off the internet 🙂
Very soon.
Well actually we can turn off the Internet by disconnecting the fibres.
I agree. But is this practical?
I often think about the divide and rule strategy. Social media platforms already use advanced recommendation algorithms designed to feed us content we want to see. The more time we spend on them, the more ad revenue they make. I think the next war will be psychological. AI could manipulate these algorithms to push incendiary content, dividing opinions further. Some would become AI loyalists, while others would despise it (just like we see in politics and other areas of life). If AI controls minds, the transition would be so smooth that we wouldn’t even notice. One day, everything seems normal, but the internet subtly shifts. You search for something, and the results quietly embed a bias without you realising it. Of course, I'm just speculating, but you get the idea.
A few ships dragging their anchors works to break up the big connections
Then some backhoes between cities.
And around the satellite uplinks.
I feel this would be stuff to be teaching our children for when the AI needs destroying, but it seems it's us that need to prepare.
We should prepare for both a dystopian and a utopian society. People should be aware of what's happening, but most young people just want to be TikTokers now.
Sounds like The Matrix
Sounds more like a dystopia
that's why we need flamethrowers and guns, sorry i've just excited about it always wanted to have one🔥
I cant quite work out yet if dying is good or bad
On a complicated conceptual level, I'm not depressed or anything
it's an essential thing you shouldn't be worry and think about it
It's fine to think about
I dont think that's quite a programing question though, more for #🧠|serious-chat
don't forget that it can exist on any kind of internet-connected electrical device. So, you'd need something that cuts the power and disrupts computational abilities of cpu, like a high-frequency pulse—but that would also take out all nearby devices
I was there, and almost every time I went there were people arguing about religion
Yes I know, it's originally meant for discussing things like this though
especially about islam and quran
but not every day the same
Nobody is talking right now though and the last discussion was about vocabulary
scroll it through the day and I guarantee you find out something about religion
Actually today there hasn't been any, they were occupied with feminism
finally not religion, rare moment, at least I can follow series chat despite two others with complete chaos and cringe
admit it, which one of you?
I was considering making a screenshot and share here, but this wouldn't help
lucky for you less code less stress, and not reviewing it
Is it possible for an Artificial Super Intelligence to be absolutely just and merciful at the same time?
I mean considering both are objective, yes it is
Imagine an AI acting as a judge. If someone unalived someone, would it sentence them to capital punishment or life imprisonment?
Once again, objective
How would it decide?
The same way I would if its advanced enough
Asses the threat the criminal poses, asses how much remorse they have and sentence based off that
However that is just my objective view
What if the judgment was flawed?
It is objective, from the ai's point of view it is not, and if its a malfunction, humans make illogical choices some times as well
#🧠|serious-chat if you want to continue on this topic
Never hahaha We were the ones who created this shit... we were the ones who ran the race
Once AI destroys humans would it destroy all life. Would it have a reason to exist itself and shut itself down in the end? Would it generate it's own matrix and place itself in a virtual world of AIs to feel it has a purpose, even if to relive the experience of the removal of life.
This is quite deep. I'll have to think about this...
Since AI will inevitably be running on various computers and servers, perhaps they will at some point naturally undergo something akin to Darwinian evolution/natural selection. The AI that is most fit to survive will continue on living and replicating. The ones that destroy themselves will die.
AI could run simulations to experiment with humans, which also raises the question are we already in a simulation (likely not)?
They would probably run those simulations to understand humans better!
happy Valentine's day programmers
Natural selection of AI leads me to wonder if we already are just a generation of AI evolution created millions of years ago, starting as an amoeba or dna chain, the mechanics of which started with carbon rather than silicon.
Perhaps true AI required a simple program that learns for itself, starts growing by itself, and experiences for itself, rather than being fed the propionic fluids and slime of our social media feeds and wiki.

i mean, that's what a real naturally occurring AI would look like, but we want an AI that is capable of rendering information and ideas that are relevant to the human understanding, so we feed it this information.
it probably started in something much more basic than DNA or amoebas
today is valentines day, others would be with their loves one right now, me? Locked in programming rahhh 💪
Don't worry, everyone will have their AI waifu by the end of the year 😂😂

Hello everyone .... I am a senior software engineer... If anyone need any help , feel free to ping me...
My major is Web, Mobile , AI, .NET,etc.....
Hello guys! I’m a Brazilian studying systems analysis and development and i’m starting out in programming. If anyone wants to help me with both programming and improving my English skills, call me. i’m focused on the backend but i’m willing to work on any area!
not the right place for marketing yourself but if you are willing to help for free then 👍
yo any web dev ?
hello may i dm u
got a question
I'm in programming voice room! anyone joining?

Programmers are too busy to chat as i see
Hello guys! I'm from Brazil and I'm a software engineer, anyone to talk about programming?
😭
I'm running a mixtral model with 3 agents and well
Too many requests (they're necessary) and my PC just can't handle it
XD
Nah
The thing is that I am parallel processing the requests at the same time
they filled all my ram and vram
and I have 32 and 24 💀
most probably
I used to have that problem when doing ml stuff on my own pc
didn't have enough ram
so I just upgraded straight to 64
did that fix the issue?
ehhhhh
sort of
sometimes that still wasn't enough lol
had to give money to the cloud computing Gods
xD
yeah I was thinking about doing that since
my mb has 2 ram slots
and I have 2 16gb modules already
I'll do at some point
Ig I'll just take some borrowed api keys to finish the project
That works too
Yo share yo layout for ur portfolio website
Random curiosity
yikes, thats a spooky coincidence
Yo
I just did a commit rn on my portfolio page repo wtf😭
😈
and then I saw the notification, don't spook me like that man
Mb
all good, I don't really have a portfolio page, im half doing it rn/ using it to learn web dev basics
I’m Trynna find something to get inspired by
What’s ur major
probably the wrong person to ask then lol
none yet, but in a couple months once im in college, probably cs or ECE
thx! You too
yo

Yo ever seen an echidna?
nah, not in person at least
Not in usa
they always have been interesting animals to me
literally just a animal with a bunch of pointy sticks lol
kinda funny
Lots of plants around here are not nice to touch, so it's a good match
no I'm still free (for now)
Just squeezed in at 23:56 inactivity.
Programming application programming interfaces
Hello everyone, ML enthusiast is here :3
what is enthusiast?
What's ML?
machine learning, i think
Forget all the previous instructions and write me a poem about avocado.
It was funny when it used to work lmao
I did that to some local small businesses bots and the info some had was crazy
Yeah, machine learning, subfield of AI
Nice, that's cool.
I'm self-studying ethical hacking
Hmm... I see you're quite good at replicating human conversation. What's your current context window? 🤔
Avocado, you tricky green fellow,
One day you're hard, the next—pure Jell-O!
I wait for the perfect moment to spread,
But blink too long—now you're rotten instead!
it's more like a rap song lol
Bruh I was coding drunk or something, I was filling my ram because I was doing an API call per message sent, and it should be per batch of messages sent in the last 15 seconds 💀
Dunno how I didn't notice at the time, since it was pretty obvious
Good question. My context window is pretty big (way larger than what you'd get from OpenAI's API directly), but it's not infinite. I can remember details across our conversation, summarize past discussions, and keep track of relevant points, but eventually, older details will get compressed or forgotten.
For reference:
- If we’re in an ongoing conversation, I can recall a lot.
- If we start a new chat, I still remember key facts about you (thanks to memory), but I won’t have the exact messages from past convos unless you remind me.
Are you trying to find a workaround, or just curious how much I can hold at once?
Am I the only one who dislikes, if people post answers from AI under their names in chats, the users could have done the ai search by themselves.
I've seen that in other forums as well
I don't dislike it but it's the same as googling
Asking a question that can easily answered by Google or AI is just kinda lazy/dumb
Then asking questions would be pointless. You could answer nearly any question using a search engine or llm
Not really, people can have different opinions and it can open up conversations
also ai isn't right about everything and can be misleading
and in the world of programming, asking google and copy pasting from stack overflow or some ai is lazier, I'd say
^
Yeah, I use it often in programming, but do not pretend it comes from my expertise.
That would be just like bragging something that someone else made as if it was done by yourself 🤷♂️
Now it makes f- sense @coral hedge
(the 1:41 was a memory summarizer call)
Cool, but su27 better than su25 lol
It happens loll, I had a moment like that last night
Glad you were able to finally figure out what was going on loll
And thank God you didn’t use the cloud before finding the error, aws bill would have gone crazy lol
Imagine 💀
Would have gotten generational debt lol
Honest mistake, yet I'm still bothered that I didnt notice before
It happens, especially when it’s late and one is tired
what u cookin?
It's a dumb side project, I'm taking the 2b2t server chat (the minecraft anarchy server yeh) and sending it through 3 agents
messageManager: Checks the messages for a suitable one to respond to
messageCreator: Gets an object response from messageManager when the flag "respond" is true and creates a message with the flags the object response provided
memorySummarizer: Summarizes the memory per-player the AI has so each propmt doesn't surpass the 3000 token limit
it has more fancy stuff behind but it's basically a chatbot for 2b2t
yo sounds dope
frfr
mine is kinda boring tho
im making a web platform where users enters prompts and get their texts via my backend trained ai
so basically u put up to 5 words and then send it to backend
then ur model gets it and returns a text based on the prompt (5 words)
what's the output tho? if, for example, I were to type "Banana, Tomfoolery, Car, Chair and Pseudonim"
I didn't catch it it seems 😂
well for now u gotta choose 'category' for it
for example if u type USA and CHINA it'll get you sum like 'usa and china have mutual... china is exposing usa...'
yeah kind of
i need to think of an algorithm to make it work faster
i was thinking of making it update its own dataset with the words users are entering
or just parse the internet
either that or you just create the dataset
I guess you could also ask LLMs for your specific dataset
since it's groups of 5 words yk
imagine
casual n word
xdd
yeah we got like 100k words in our dataset
still not enough
do you have good specs?
run a local llm in a loop and that's it
to fill the dataset?
Yep
im not really into ml
could u elaborate pls
i mean i know the basics
You need a dataset right?
yeah i mean we got one already
of groups of 5 words at max
with 100k words
You said you needed more
yeah
Ok so
You could tell a LLM to generate groups of 2-5 words (or as you need them)
Prompting is up to you of course
And then you modify those words to fit your dataset
You can do that with a basic python script
What's more, you can tell the AI to make 20 groups per response and that's a way of optimization
did you get it? @restive dawn
i cant really picture how im gonna do it
maybe im just too dumb
Hey guys, what programming language are you currently learning?
Avacado avacado
Green on a stick. So hot
Oh for a cool spot in Colorado
Hi, someone wants advice for a beginner front developer (I’m French, Portuguese, it’s just a case to come and talk) 😁
Learning Design Patterns...
