0: Bug for this thread itself? My original message was not deleted, Dyno trashed it just because? Someone should fix THAT.

1: Main door sometimes does not repair itself and stays visibly damaged. (pic included)

2: Ship upgrade visual, when ship size is larger than the window you won't be able to see the rest of the upgraded areas EVEN if you try to scroll up or down. (pic included)

3: Weapon Fleshstrosity description: "Inflicts vulnerable". What does this even mean?? (pic included)

4: Weight Distorter description: "Reduces your ship's weight". By how much exactly?? (pic included)

5: Arrived at a "super placeholder" random event, however while most other events erase the location you arrive at after exiting it's window/menu.. this location stays on the map and remains targetable but not revisitable in the same session. Still weird, it shouldn't do that. (pics included)

6: Why.. do MY units, the airlock units/gun or despot NOT heal to full HP inbetween rounds/fights? CAN WE GET A HEAL FUNCTION?!

7: Why.. do fighting units ignore enemies entering or in despots area?

8: Why.. do bioreactors "+ button" not have a press & hold to add function, why must I keep pressing it over & over to add humans? This is crazy when you have 100+ to dump into the bioreactors pool /omg so much clicking @proven zodiac for finding out that you can hold SHIFT + CLICK to dump drop multiple units of humans into the fuel pool here.

9: Why is it.. when buying a empty space on the ship the whole game lags?

10: Why is it.. when adding the artifact "coffee bean" the game lags?

11: Why is it.. when removing the artifact "coffee bean" all humans exit some or ALL work spaces?

12: Unit "Samurai" is 4k strong and is listed as the strongest possible unit in the game.. but the robot from mech B or whatever is 7k before upgrades.. soooo.. yaaa.. seems not accurate.

To be continued as I play more.. (pics will be uploaded manually below.. apparently "Dyno" doesn't like me doing this all at one time, I can only add 3 pics at once even as a nitro user?)

0. Too many attachments.

  1. Was this because of overlapping waves?

  2. That's a good catch. The devs said players weren't supposed to get as far as they did, so it might be an oversight for that reason.

  3. It's a status effect called "Vulnerable" I imagine there will be an in-game wiki or something with status effects (i.e. some weapons do "Poison" but it's not explained anywhere either since it's a playtest with limited features, but that one is obvious.) I imagine it lowers defense/increases damage inflicted or something like that.

  4. That's fair, some items say 20% or 40%, should be displayed here.

  5. That one is clearly a placeholder event of some kind so it could have unusual logic tied to it but yeah fair enough.

  6. Overlapping waves?

  7. I agree it feels bad when you get units there and they could help despot survive. Maybe that's by design (if they get past that room then it's too late, you've "failed" already.) But it would be nice to be able to do something about it.

  8. Fair enough, probably needs a mass-add or at least a +10 button.

  9. That would be better as a standalone bug report. I haven't seen that so you probably need to provide a video, some info about the run like current wave/ship size/upgrade etc.

  10. Also haven't experienced that. Record evidence, make a bug post specifically for it.

  11. I'm guessing it's a rounding thing where because your groups need to be bigger, some units don't fit in the working group size anymore so the leftovers would be evicted.

Keep sending feedbacks. But for #1496986094351417426 , try to be as specific as possible -- report one issue at a time, provide a video/screenshot.

#1496986568068432014 is good for most of the things you mentionned, like misleading description or missing resource/cost information. And you can lump feedback together I think, that's fine, however if there's certain points that are up for discussion you might want to post a single post about it, otherwise it's harder to discuss.

Thanks for sharing and sorry about Dyno deleting it. Try to stick to 4 images per post (I get why the restriction is there, otherwise it could be used to spam)

Reply: Negative, units stay damaged. Had a samurai with 1hp wait until the next round came to kill him.. /sigh.

Reply: I could see that.. but sometimes they do fight in that room? It seems to be a timing issue of some sort. An awareness layer would help them detect/resolve better.

Reply: +10 +100 or a means to pause and type the value, or even a means to automate it by something like all but the last 25 units.

Reply: Hmm.. its more like all the energy buildings and resources ones will dump all but the last notch of workers. Places like despots room or birth rooms won't. Results would prolly benefit from video but.. i don't have software for that.

Sorry for the massive post as it stands, it seemed like spam to give each of these their own posts, figured this would be easier. I'll try to sort them out if that's what the dev-team here prefers.

if you want screen recording software OBS is great and free/open source https://obsproject.com/ . I have mine set-up to always record the last 40 seconds so if something weird happens I can just grab it, but you can also just start recording anytime.

but even a report without a video is fine, it just adds more context. A screenshot of the ui at the time might also be good if it has things like wave #, units on screen etc. even if the bugitself is not visible in the screenshot

you can upload to youtube as an unlisted video and just share the link.

But don't worry about it, more for yourself if you want the ability to screen record. Nvidia/Radeon also have options, as well as the windows gamebar which should be already installed.

Like I said a screenshot of the full context/situation too might help so at least the stats/info are visible on screen
