Hey Despot, I have an Idea for more levels...

#

Gemstones, they all have 100% magic damage resistance, a good amount of armor and HP
but the most interesting part about them is when they get hit by magic damage!

They shoot projectiles out of specific points on their design:

Rubies shoot two projectiles horizontally left and right, 8K HP, 400 armor, takes up one square
Sapphires shoot two projectiles vertically up and down, 8K HP, 400 armor, takes up one square
Emeralds shoots four projectiles like a ruby and a sapphire combined, 20K HP, 400 armor, found all the time in shop rooms, and take up one square
Amethysts shoot four projectiles in the diagonals, 20K HP, 400 armor, you pretty much only find these in food rooms... and take up one square
Topazes shoot eight projectiles in a combination of the Emerald and Amethyst, 50K HP, 600 armor, found to accompany the boss, which is the queen of gems herself and as well as in Mutation rooms, takes up four squares, like your beloved cabbages
And the boss, who is none other than the queen herself...

DIAMOND!!!
200K HP, 1000 armor, takes up nine squares just like you do

#

i mean that i would move here

glass mountain
#

By the way, it was spoken like I was speaking to Despot Himself

craggy girder
#

so, now i even have an example from my side, because i did concept of floor by myself, #1048532726472515654 and yes its on russian so you would need a translator. now i need to read again to make my opinion

glass mountain
#

How are the gemstones?

#

the "Jewelry Hierarchy"

#

Also, I wanted a 3x3 ally, or a 4x4 enemy... and here, I made that happen!

craggy girder
#

the other ones that are not gemstones has very low details to say about so i wont say about them
making new floors is surely bad idea, on 11 floor player already has build that cant be stopped by anything, so i would mind them as an option of floor 9-11
so... looks like the only thing remain is gemstones that has only thing: high armor and 100% magic resistance, in result you just delete the option of using magic builds or low damage like shooters because they will harm themselfs or do nothing, i mean it can be the option to use some kind of reverting damage like thorny dog has, but its one of the most hated enemy so i dont see any good sides of it...

glass mountain
#

By the time you have high attack power

#

Plus they're floor 13-16

craggy girder
#

maybe i didnt notice some things like how they attack, wont tell its bad because dont really get it

glass mountain
#

Whenever a gemstone hits another gemstone with their own projectiles, they cause that gemstone to shoot!

#

It refracts light into power,

#

also, that 100% damage resistance only applies to friendly fire damage, they have 35% defense actually

craggy girder
glass mountain
#

Okay, uhh, these guys have low HP

#

and you can always lower enemy armor

#

just watch out for the diamond

#

when hit with magic damage, she sends a radial wave that does 199 magic damage to all enemies and allies in a large area around itself

#

they can hit each other, but they won't take damage from them

#

So the worms

they're grouped in four sizes

Small
Hp 20000, Attack - 360, Armor - 60, Speed - 0, 2x2, common in any room

Medium
Hp 50000, Attack - 540, Armor - 90. Speed - 0. 2x2, most likely found in shop and food rooms

Big
Hp 150000, Attack - 720, Armor - 150, Speed - 0 , 3x3, Found in the Mutation rooms

Behemoth
Hp 300000, Attack - 960, Armor - 240, Speed - 0, 4x4, the boss of this set

craggy girder
#

then my only complaint is about high armor and the floor they creating, because we has floor rotations like zombies can be 5-7 and who know where exactly, so in case of not making game bigger it can be in other floor, other things can looks great depend on details. but its a numbers that can be changed and its no reason to discuss about

craggy girder
glass mountain
#

They do hit like a truck though!

#

Even at long range

#

And they can tank like a truck!

#

So the arachnids

Spider
Hp 11520, Attack - 244, Armor - 64, Speed - 90, 1x1, common in any room, heals self for 150% of damage dealt

Giant Spider
Hp 57600, Attack - 576, Armor - 128. Speed - 150. 2x2, most likely found in shop and food rooms, heals self for 150% dealt

Scorpion
Hp 115200, Attack - 768, Armor - 256, Speed - 70 , 3x3, Found in the Mutation rooms, when it attacks an enemy it has a small chance to outright one-shot it, that get's higher as their Armor goes up

Tarantus
Hp 1152000, Attack - 2304, Armor - 512, Speed - 60, 4x4, the boss of this set, can eat and digest humans just like the Mantrap

#

Don't worry, these are 13-16 enemies

craggy girder
#

i am sorry that i cant say something like yeah would be cool to see spiders in game or i would fight some enemy with 1kk health. for me its just senseless but looks like its the thing you need, because if say about how it will be played in game EXACTLY you say it would be bad, if we talk about it like an example stats and remove some weird stuff like it makes game longer, like again if its DC its not a problem, then there is nothing new except gemstones attack

glass mountain
#

So the Sea monsters

Barnacle
Hp 8900, Attack - 354, Armor - 164, Speed - 25, 1x1, ranged - 5, attack speed - 0.2

Anemone
Hp 75300, Attack - 24, Armor - 60m Speed - 40, 2x2, melee - 2, attack speed - 0.8, returns 30% of damage taken back to the emeny, found in shop rooms

Octophage
Hp 88888, Attack - 800, Armor - 88, Speed - 80, 3x3, melee - 2, attack speed - 0.6, knocks down foes while attacking, found in food rooms

Naga
Hp 68000, Attack - 423, Armor - 256, Speed - 120, 3x3, melee - 2, attack speed - 1, Found in the Mutation rooms, "she" can rocket through your army like Model 8, dealing 846 damage to everyone in the way. "she" can also grab humans with "her" tail, and then violently throwing them across the room, dealing 1692 damage to them

Kraken
Hp 264500, Attack - 2304, Armor - 299, Speed - 20, 4x4, ranged - 8, attack speed - 0.4, the boss of this set, calls in 8 Kraken's Arms at the start of the battle, these inherit Kraken's attack, armor, speed and attack speed...

glass mountain
#

@craggy girder this is the marker for any 4x4 enemies, which are the Behemoth Worm, Kraken and Tarantus

#

Diamond is not a 4x4 enemy...

#

she is 3x3, just like Despot...

BTW, I have models of the Gemstone ememies in Lego form

#

All six gemstones...

They all have a few things in common

1 - when they attack, they knock down enemies directly in the way, but it's a narrow line for all of these, and they only go up to 5 squares in any direction, 4 if it's going diagonally...
2 - Their attacks do magic damage, so armor doesn't matter,
3 - If they get hit by magic damage, which they have a 75% resistance to, they shoot projectiles across specific points on their granular bodies...
4 - If they shoot each other (which they can), that will activate their attacks and they're completely immune to friendly-fire damage...
5 - They have two weapons shooting the same thing... one of them as the regular attack (which is once per 5 seconds), and the other as a reflex, having a cooldown of 3 seconds and spending 10 mana each use
6 - All six gemstones have 500 mana...
7 - They are a family :)

Diamond is the mother to all gemstones, while her sons serve to protect her...

Directions these Gemstones fire...

Ruby - ⬅️ ➡️ (Horizontally)

Amethyst - ↖️ ↗️ ↙️ ↘️ (Diagonals)

Topaz...

#

And lastly, Diamond...

#

you actually did it

#

what is the reason to make numbers, if they dont mean anything and even thing that can be only 1-100 you dont know what exactly is, all those numbers, arent they random? i am sure you didnt think about balance, why not write something like gemstones has medium magic resistance so it can be anything and still makes sense

#

if its because you acually looked at my thread with level then its not the same, i know how much armor enemies regulary has in floors 5-7, i know how much health upgrades player can do, so i can think what number can be implemented in game with least fixes

#

its cool you did some pixel art and lego models, but what reason to run for numbers then? if you can write, describe why this concept cool, what abilities and mechanics enemies can have and we can discuss how it can be played. if you can art show how they look, and we can clap for your work, but i see that you dont have enough info to calculate numbers and you dont even know how much magic resistance they should have

@glass mountain I'm not much into DG, but I do appreciate whatever keeps fandom alive. Great work, thank you 👍
