I get this error message everything I try to view King of the Hill leader boards.

I finished a run last night and saw I was 1st/the only one in my group. Then since I started thr game up today I get this error

Also to note, plugged in via ethernet on an Xbox Series X. No other internet problems

Just tried reinstalling the game, still get the same error.

Same here 🙂 I completed the game and the KOTH. I can't see the season results at all.
Edit: Also after the last KOTH game it said something silly like "you're 36th out of 18!"

I just finished the game again and now it soft locked my game. It won't let me click the button after beating the last boss to upload my team. At first it said loading but now I just see my team, no shop, and the button. But I can't click anything but the pause menu.

Weird... I hard restarted my game and when I clicked continue it let me do my King of the Hill run. However, I couldn't see the leader board or the names of my enemies. It just let me click fight. I went through about 7 fights with 1 loss and it said I got rank 2 in group 18

I have the same issue on Xbox. I fix by exiting the game and relaunching it and hitting continue. The bug persists with not showing me rank or who I'm battling. I'm 1 in ladder 45 greenhorn after battling the two games. When I go to view the ladder.

It also bugs and says I'm not connected online

Says issues with connecting to the server.

I am having the same issue. And I was ranked #1 in Greenhorn League 5. My game state is Version 9.27.15033.0 last updated on 11/4/2022 PC Game Pass -- I tried Verify/Repair and that didn't change the issue -- In my LocalLow folder I have a player.log and a player-prev.log but no saves, no settings.json, no profile.bin files.

Yep -- I figure it might be something wrong with the current Game Pass/Xbox update that has screwed things up. Wish there was an update b/c I missed the Haloween event completely and now I'll be way behind on Season 3. 😦

Is this issue only for Gamepass users? If I buy the game on xbox/pc will the king of the hill start working? I've played a ton of king of the hill and still haven't gotten the 100 wins achievement.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. We're working on a patch, the ETA for the release is December.

Meanwhile, just to be sure: please try connecting your console to a different Wi-fi or using an Ethernet cable.

the "bug" exsists since i started playing the game... i never saw the ladder and it always said you need to be connected... i started playing it around october the 18th i think

For me it started when there was an update -- based on the timing I think it was right around when the Halloween update patch hit Game Pass -- Right at the end of Season 1.

Yeah, I was pumped to play again and again. Only to watch seasons fly by with cool tech I can't even use. It's not worth playing if the next patch is going to never come or just be kept in suspense...

Access: Yes, you can pick a team and items in the first 2 rooms, also. But: You can't get a fight in room 3. The game gives you the options to "Try connecting to the server" in an infinite loop (not working) or "New Game". This all happened after the new update.

I was playing the game for around 35 hours on Xbox before experiencing this issue a couple days ago. I’ve tried various game modes and am always met with the same screen due to the game not detecting an internet connection. I also just recently discovered that the game works fine if I switch to my old profile which has no time in the game.
I’ve read and heard directly from other users that this issue can be bypassed if you switch from xb to pc gamepass but I don’t have a working pc to confirm
