Cool level
<@&1178134658857308212>
You haven‘t even played it yet bruh
Just by looking at the picture
Bruh, this is too short, you should make it at least 5 squares longer.
This is the reason why you were lc. This level is really cool
nah its intended that way
So you have to wait a tiny bit for it to move left
It's actually very simple; I don't think it would take you 3 hours to finish this
I also have to think of the obstacles you know
Anyone can rebuild a level in less than 3 hours
Is this part too difficult? 😰
Nah
Adding another checkpoint here means that if players don't know that the disappearing blocks will reappear, they will die and have to start over, which can take a long time
I thought about that already but decided to leave it
Its 8p anyway
Checkpoint there is just kinda useless
If you go down to touch the checkpoint you avoid dying anyway, I want people to do risky plays
Add an arrow here.
For the 5 iq players?
So make for players know diíappearing block reappear
Add some kind of clue so the player can know.
The clue is… the time?
sorry, i believe i don't like this one that much 😓 the 3 hours of effort really show in the lack of meaningful gameplay after the start, i believe the gameplay does die down too much to be entertaining to me. you should pay a bit more attention as to where you place your obstacles too: i believe the first obstacle is great, but too hard to react to if you're playing for the first time, using it later is much better imo. the dissapearing blocks are a bit RNG, as clipping into the block (when one of them reappears) and dying on accident is very possible. (especially happens on the far right) since theres no real skill part, i believe this level will let the people who got pushed to the front by luck qualify/have a better chance at qualifying, as long as they don't mess up. its really not that hard to mess up either, with a bit of learning and 1-2 months of this level being in the game i'm sure it'll be done flawlessly by the pros. that kind of level will become random and people with less fortunate luck will definitely hate it (if it ends up playing this way) some more gameplay would be nice, additionally some more thought put into this level would be neat
Why are you apoligising? I like it when people are honest
this goes in all the way on this side, but on the other side u still have one bit to stand on, u shouldnt rly have to wait
i rly like the background of this lvl
yeh u should also put an arrow here cause otherwise it looks like u would just fall and it is just something ot kinda try prevent it but its actually part to the race (only for noobs)
@calm patio
Omg I loved this map until I got to the dissapearing block section, I was about to instantly send it
I can change that if you want
Is it like specifically the dissipering blocks or the lasers too
guh
@calm patio honestly i really want to say that i love this because some parts of this level just feel brilliant
but it plays really badly
and i feel like if i got this in a public i would get frustrated esp over the cycles
no worries im gonna change some parts of the level
kk ill get to fixing soon
Think i‘ve sufficently changed it for a reconsideration
I tried to make the first obstacle easier but I can also put it later in the level, just tell me yes/no
I think I like this version even less, it feels like you made the gameplay even less meaningful and purist. Feels like its not really skillbased and theres no part where pros will surely overtake a noob. That's okay in 32p and maybe a bit in 16p, but not for something like 8p please 👍
Yeah, the first obstacle is significantly better imo
Can you explain to me what „purist“ means?
this has the same issue as the comeback, people can just stay here
and this part is super annoying
"a person who insists on absolute adherence to traditional rules or structures, especially in language or style."
As in, when you insist on using basically only platforms and winds with no movement, offset or other gimmicky stuff. That makes parts seem incredibly plain and also remove the learning aspect & timing aspect. Usually it also stops multiplayerability from working really well as moving objects (when done right ofc) can actually be really cool in a public setting
Yeah well maybe if Typixel would make the animation editor finally work on mobile I wouldn‘t be confined to taking other people‘s animations
Literally most of my levels are built like they are because of that restricton, it is starting to get boring I think
Might quit making levels till it gets fixed
