ss1: move the arrow back a bit, bc the part to the right is extremely empty.
ss2: literally nothing here.
There are some more places where there is little deco, also there is very few unique structures. To make it less linear, maybe add a bunch of sloped and wonky shaped blocks. Overall kind of bland, has potential tho.

@upbeat panther I added a vertical trial as you recommended and it's not linear anymore since I changed & added a lot of things
I was honestly expecting the extension to be much longer
Id scrap some of the linear parts at the start for it ngl

I've been playing this one the most and probably have a general idea of what I dislike here
Simple flow change here can make a big difference
I think this obstacle should be removed, its just an unneccessary cycle that doesnt work no matter how you put it

Second flow change, these conveyor belts go into the ground and end up pushing players into the saw, if you're gonna place it that close make sure that doesn't happen please
When players get pushed in the right direction, they can climb there to go up through the big moving cube
But I don't understand, that doesnt actually give them any advantage so everyone will go down?
Especially because it spins the other way when all players arrive there lol

When you find the correct amount of space in your level it helps a lot

Hmm what could be done there
A general rule of thumb of space:
Your level should start with the most space possible to make sure no one dies unfairly and everyone can play the level comfortably
Slowly but surely you can slow down the space usage in your level because less players will be grouped together. (ONLY when you allow pro players to take the lead beforehand)
NickMcSlick's "seanysean's rage" uses space perfectly. Goes from Super spacious to small sections if you check these two (Beginning & End)

I like this level.
One thing tho (in the screenshot) I don’t like how this saw comes out of nowhere, there is no warning sign, and the saw goes to the edge of the platform. Please make it so the player can have some time to react to the saw before they die.
The rest of the level is mostly good, some parts could use some more deco, though not much more is needed.

I only see little issues, so I'll point them out and you can fix them if you want
- Could fill this in, would make it much cleaner since the movement on the spike isnt needed imo
- Jumpzone isn't neccessary here either, I guess you did it to fill up space but its just pointless ngl and kinda removes the rawness of your part
remove jump zone, add warning sign
- This one's a must tho, please just remove the bouncy and wind its so cluttering, as the wise GrosserSpino once said: "I wanna just walk for a bit too" (or smth like that idk)

I still have concerns with the shortcut and spawn.
The spawn is honestly really unfair still, part of me wishes you started it a bit more on the bottom and used those wheels to make a skilled climbing section at the start for pro goobers (just as an idea, feel free to wish as you do please ofc)
The shortcut is crazy satisfying, but too much risk for little reward. You have to do a basically kaizo maneuver while there are people dashing you. I fear you added something cool for basically no reason, when we were playing this in a custom I was the only one who took it and I lost some races because of it, it hardly ever paid off

two small tweaks.
ss1: please make it so that the block pushes you up right away, it’s so annoying having to wait. Maybe add like a 1 second delay, it’ll probably fix it.
ss2: small visual thing, but the gap here makes it look weird, one block thick ground objects are bad to have in levels because they don’t look great.

I was about to fix the hold right thing, but I just haven't found time for it
This level has some fun elements, especially the windmills and the shortcuts, but I ultimately dont believe that it feels skill-based enough. It’s enjoyable to time trial, but qualifying on it feels like it could be too random/ too packed. There aren’t many opportunities to separate yourself from others until the very end, where the laser acts as the main differentiator. The issue for me is that the laser comes up suddenly (no warning that I saw) and can easily cause accidental deaths (someone who doesn’t know could dash others into it), which, combined with this being a more crowded/packed map, makes it feel like a single make-or-break obstacle right before the finish as there aren’t many opportunities for separation from other players in the first 30 seconds or so of the map.
The fundamentals are definitely there, but because the map seems to rely heavily on one major obstacle at the end rather than a progression of skill-based sections, I worry it may feel inconsistent or overly luck-based in a qualifying setting. Looking forward to seeing more maps from you though for sure!
I will do a few more edits in this map soon, if more people don't enjoy it, I'll make another one, thanks for the feedback

Idk, I'm just map making, I feel like this map has great potential, so I'm not giving up on changes easily, like, avoid pinging LCs or anyone without any kind of new thing to see, if they keep the silence for a long time, you gotta change again and ping them again, or your map isn't good for certify
For example, I got at least 3 people saying I need to break the hold right thing and make at least one more skilled trial, which means I need to improve, I don't have time for it yet, but I'll eventually update again, ready for more feedback

If they like, that's already a great thing lol, just keep building to get more experience, someone liking it isn't really enough to build a nice level
