Too short
Obstacles are gonna be hard for new players
And if you die you can’t catch up
You think a new player on their first game will be able to do that
I don’t think new people can do it
And the level is too short

Make the saws come out of the walls like the second picture but more wall and less saw

dying here costs you 30~ ish seconds and gives you a guarantee to not qualify
other than that giving players space in your level was executed rather mid, especially at the start it didnt really feel like enough space
correct me if im wrong, the entire start is literally just linear jumping over spikes and your level would be 10 seconds long if you didnt put a super stretched out vehicle section to raise it to 30 which every player will be in at once
(i mean seriously, more than half of your level is waiting on a platform. please dont do this)
gameplay wise since its linear and uncreative, absolute no from me

i would rather have a thread where people spam their levels explicitly to me than get the entire lc pinged for every level
ever since i joined lc my pings per day increased by a bit
and the lc role is a bit flawed in the sense that it wakes everyone up and not just 1 person
it was funny seeing 80% of threads have @ Level Council as well as @strange meadow

this is a good parenting decision yeah
i reviewed the 2 other levels so now i can review this one
the ones that were in line
(first screenshot) : pretty good start, simple parkour with each player having their only lane to minimize griefing.
(second screenshot) : it's just a bouncer to the next area, no complaints although i recommend extending the bouncer's width to the spikes
(third screenshot) : it was learned that this can be done dashless, but this section's still ok for the 4 players who will be in this room. you could remove 1 spike from the rightmost side if you want to ensure that even misplays can still get across, but i think it's fine as is.
(fourth screenshot and fifth screenshot) : i like this, it's big enough for 8p and it's an overall good obstacle
(sixth and seventh screenshot) : the new subway with the constant moving zone is much better, i feel like you should extend the height of the horizontal section a bit tho.
(eighth screenshot) : decent end build-up, it's a very simple design.

probably should've been a bit more specific, the room you enter with the sign that says "wait here for subway" felt a bit small to me height wise

Final Score :
design : 7.5/10, i really like how this level connects players overtime through the single path to 2 players per path and so on, and the obstacles are simple and easy (required dash is kind of annoying but it was tested to be possible and somewhat easy), the flow is nice and fast-paced making a nice and fun level overall.
multiplayability™ : 9/10, i love the split paths idea and how it evolves over the rest of the level while still have the appropriate space for each room and its corresponding amount of players.
creativity : 7/10, some obstacles are "borrowed" and while there's no original obstacle (from what i can see) the obstacles chosen are good and come together to create a great race imo.

i can't post the peppino gif since it broke for some reason but this level gets an A from me
look at my run. I can just chill for 10s and still get wr… you need to change the elevator so there is no huge gap between them
are you sure you want to use your final rate on this version ?
before i rate it you should probably fix the subway since grosser beat the level just by waiting for a good jump zone rotation
to make me really happy you need to find a solution to this section:
the goober on the lower lane has a significant advantage imo

Remove the gap, otherwise the whole race isn’t working…
i am not sure if you understand what i am talking about because you fail to change it all the time... if you dont close the gap between the jumpzones of your "elevator" it does not matter at all if you need 20s or 28s to reach the elevator-section making the whole race until the elevator useless. as it is 8p, every goober will be able to be in the first elevator-jumpzone at the end so the whole race will be who will do the best 2 dashes in the end.

thats exactly the time where goobers arrive at the elevator.... maybe you should delete the whole thing and start to build it new. i have a feeling that you got confused by the behavior of the elevator because you have so many jumpzones overlapping each other. i admit it is a nice looking effect but you seem to struggle to make it work. if you watch the elevator yourself you will see that a lot of jumpzones behave differently over time. my suggestion would be that you just have single jumpzones moving through this tunnel. but keep a dashable gap between them.

- Dash rechargers are permanent to be more fair for everyone
- made the gap where all goobers merge a bit wider

step 1 : open the link spino posted here
step 2 : as soon as it loads, click the star with the "i" on it
step 3 : click the heart to save to favorites
step 4 : go to the level editor and click your "heart" tab
if you have a lot of levels there scroll till you find the level you just hearted
step 5 : click on the level and it should open in the editor

step 7 : move the block that is covering the jump zones

To make it fair
i like it very much. but it could be even better imo. the visual design would be more pleasing if you just put some effort into it. some lanes seem to be roughly 1s slower than others which is unfair and contradicts the idea of separate lanes. all in all this race is very fun for me. at least the speedrun. if it works in publics we can only see if it gets into the game. I hope you put some last effort into it and try to make it perfect!
tldr: try to make it as fair as possible for every spawn and make it look very pretty 🙂

it's re-reviewing time ! this is your final review for this level
(first screenshot) : start remains the same simple spike hopping parkour, no complaints since this is simple and you can't grief so it's a skill based obstacle
(second screenshot) : another simple obstacle with minimal griefing potential, no complaints here.
(third screenshot) : the gravity field is strong enough not to give too much of an advantage to the top players, ill make a mockup for some way to improve the level in my eyes. overall section is good and the dash is not necessary after a test.
(fourth screenshot) : i love grosser's fix to this because it helps players get into the gravity field that moves players to the right.
(fifth screenshot and sixth screenshot) : enough space for 8p in both sections here while offering a bit of a challenge.
(seventh screenshot and eighth screenshot) : updated subway is better than the older subway, no complaints and compliments to grosser for fixing it (also there's no background in the seventh screenshot idk if you wanna fix that)
(ninth screenshot) : end build-up remains fine, im ok with the dash jump shortcut here.
Final Score :
design : 8.5/10 (previous version scored 7.5/10), my general stance on the design stays the same, i like the level concept and the small fixes grosser added really help the level's flow.
multiplayability™ : 9/10 (previous version scored the same) like in my previous point i like the increase in players as the level progresses, and there's enough space in a lot of the rooms to accommodate 8p.
creativity : 7.5/10 (previous version scoreed 7/10), stance remains the same on the use of obstacles, the only reason i gave a point increase was because of the changes grosser made.
Score 25/30, S Tier (previous version scored 23.5/30, A Tier)

i did ask you to make spawns fair. its important in this map
with spawn i mean the starting-field. every goober has his own lane at the beginning. but if they merge some lanes are better than others. i think this is the worst offendor:
with this the goobers at the upper lane have an advantage of roughly 1 second. it does not sound awful but this will most probably decide the race very often and people may start hate the level because it is unfair
no, goober dashes and jumps over spikes. just watch my replay
i dont really want to tell you how to do it because it should stay your level and i am sure you can find a solution to it yourself.
if it was me doing this level i would put a finish-line at the end of each section and test every lane to check if it is same time. i just realized that this is also misplaced by 1 block:

I do think he’s right when he says that maps that get approved latest start off with a great like rate. I think donut just doesn’t want him to go through a heart break of his map getting a lower score
The biggest heartbreak of ToE for me was that it was 6th in the top rated back then when the devs certified the top 5. What killed me more was an auto level took one of the spots.
