#My Issues of Goober Dash Level Editor

Hello!! I really want to build a level but from the GD community - I'm not really expecting a refined editor, so I'll tell you my problems to try to make it better.

  • Why are the buttons and objects on the side?
I have to go on the left-hand side of the objects every time!! Wouldn't it be better if the objects were somewhere near the bottom? And, sometimes I build on mobile so it'll be convenient to just go near the bottom like in GD.

  • Select Mode
This is the single worst thing the devs have ever implemented. Whenever I tap a object I also have to press the select mode every single time. It's also the thing you have to select to make objects resize and make bigger and smaller If there some kind of keybind-

  • Keybinds
Seriously, why isnt there any keybinds? It's so inconvient to have to drag my mouse/trackpad around while most of my time on my laptop, my hands are on the keyboard, so I have a few keybinds

    • CTRL + S
PLEASE. JUST PLEASE ADD A SELECT KEYBIND
    • CTRL + ALT + P
      Playtesting your levels.
    • CTRL + ALT + S
      Saving your levels
  • More arrow keys, WASD and keyboard
If we can use the arrow keys to play, why not implement it on the editor? Down arrow or S to navigate the objects, ENTER to place a object, All arrow keys to move a object or WASD, all arrow keys + SHIFT to move and reform objects, BACKSPACE to delete objects in select mode, etc, etc.

  • Rotation near you
It's so annoying having to press 3 or 4 buttons just to rotate an object, but it's easier for players to select a object, and a rotation button you can turn and rotate using your mouse!!

  • Documentation
As Goober Dash gets more popular and more and more features start coming, the editor may be more intricate. Maybe in the future, make documentation so people can refer to when they get stuck?

I believe Goober Dash can be WAY better with these QoL features!!

I think you can use backspace to delete objects.

  • Layering
Do I really have to move the top-most object to select the object underneath?

The level editor being closer to that of the GD one would be great because the second I use either after using the other for a while it feels like I have a brain tumor until I get used to it again
