Yeah smoke bombs shouldn’t cover any of the text or boxes.

but if they didn't then it wouldn't accurately be obscuring your vision, the way actual smoke would.

you make a good point, but game design wise i think the weapons are inside of the tank, making them get blocked off by the smoke

and it is wildly unfair to shoot the mines im saving up instead of a rapid that could destroy my opponent in the smoke cloud

I agree with your stance and can not find any illogical statements. I guess from my own perspective, I enjoy the turmoil that the smoke cloud creates. Of course for the person deploying the weapon, there is no confusion, only targets! 🙂

I see what you mean. I just feel like the weapon boxes and text are “outside” of the “world” that the tanks are in, and thus shouldn’t be covered by smoke that’s in the same “world” as the tanks, if that makes any sense

Yes, I 100% understand and I can definitely see the logic. If the Devs decide to act on your suggestion and change the box dynamic, I won't make a thread protesting the change. 🙂 I guess the way I view the situation is that the feature only adds to the confusion for the player... like going to the movies with 3D glasses on... it is as if we can feel the turmoil that the inhabitant(s) are feeling inside the tank when vision is obscured! 😄

...not to shift topics, but speaking about the weapon selection boxes.....

I feel that their presence on the battlefield is potentially affecting the inhabitant(s) of my tank in a confusion-inducing manner. For instance, "what are those things that when I try to aim my turret downwards it only clicks or changes my weapon?"

I'm 51 years old and have been doing chat room stuff since back in the early 2000's primarily on Techno music boards and that kind of thing.... I did this "performance art" kind of thing with Tim Brewer at a Microsoft Access chat room for a year or until our thread got so annoying that we were both banned and the thread was locked.

.....he was a big proponent of "Brain Gate", which is a technology that a person can control a computer with their thoughts. This was probabaly early 2010's when he was talking about this.. way before Neurolink.

Anyways, Tim Brewer wanted to use the technology to talk to the Afterlife and he talked a lot about Orbs and communiting with them. Eventually he filed papers to run for President of the United States. Google it and you will see!

He never asked me to do it, I just always took his side when anyone would try to say something he was saying was wrong. We had a good time and I was having fun scuplting eloquent responces.

...anyways, fast forwarding to 2024, I like to do a few things. I work in the yard and house, I like music, primarily mid to late 90's New York House, but also Deep House and all sorts of Techno. I also enjoy cooking and I work a lot of hours.

Rocket Bot Royale is literally the only video game I play. It is absolutely perfect for the kind of game I like! It's fast paced, skill based, and has a Great sound track. If it was a stock I would buy some.

...speaking of which, I remember when Bit Coin was $1. It crashed to cheaper and then went back to $1. At the time, when my friends at DetroitLuv were talking about buying Bit Coin I thought they were doing so to get drugs on the Dark Web or GOD knows what! Since I wasn't interested in doing anything illegal with my computer, I never bought any! I instead thought that uranium and pebble bed reactors were the future, so I bought uranium stock. The Fukishima disaster resulted in the price of Uranium being decimated! My $2500 was lost.
