I think the laser is pretty balanced, but it feels a bit strong in the hands of a skilled PC player, and a bit weak in the hands of a mobile player. This is to be expected somewhat, but the difference is pretty stark. I think we can make it a bit more even by removing the ability to aim the laser while its charging. We can balance this nerf out by making the charge time shorter. We could make the laser more of a wide beam and less of a sniper as well.
Current Laser
- 1s charge time
- Can aim laser while its charging
- 0.8 direct damage, 0.4 indirect damage with a 60 point width (tank radius is 30 points)
Suggested change
- 0.4s charge time (same as nuke)
- Cannot adjust aim of laser while its charging
