#Changing the void looping mini game

you did make a step in the right direction by making the looping minigame cost the item with upgrades but the fact that an item with no upgrades is worth the same as an item with 5 upgrades is absolute bullcrap
In regards to the loop minigame, there was a change not too long ago in regards to the sacrifice system that has caused some debate over in a recent voice chat. Previously, when sacrificing an upgraded item, it would only remove one upgrade from the stack, now, however, the entire stack is removed.
I have very mixed thoughts on looping. I've thought looping has been in a very awkward place for a long time and I'm gonna try to get my thoughts out there.
we all agreed that the looping minigame should take sacrafices equal to the upgrade leve
*level
an item with 5 upgrades gives 6 levels
(forgot to add a level for the base item)
while an item without upgrades gives only one sacrafice
This has caused a manner of dispute. Overall, it is a good change considering the overall balance of the game, although, there does seem to be a manner of distaste towards that change. The simplest thing to do, that we agreed on, that would be fun, while fair, would be what Markoth is saying here.
Yeah pretty much what they said lol
another change i would suggest is making items with more upgrades bigger
actually items can rank up in rarity when they are upgraded
just have those changes reflect in the size of the bubble as well
i like the game but the fact that losing a max upgraded item only gives one point is bullshit
really promotes always sacraficing your weapons
