#Add "[[ ]]" to create a new link, like obsidian.

In obsidian it is soooooo easy to link to a new note. You just type [[hello]] and a new note called "hello" will be linked, even if the note doesn't exist yet, it will be created.
This is so convenient because i can write all my thoughts, and get into the details later. For example i can write in my journal "today i will go to the gym to do my [[workout of the day]]". Then a link will be created. And when i finish writing my journal, i click on the workout of the day, and i will write exactly which exercises i will do.

To create a link to a new note in notesnook today requires so many steps. In obsidian it takes literally 1 second to create a link to a new note, or even to an existing one if you remember the title by just doing [[ ]]

What's the reason for leaving obsidian

I did leave obsidian too. My reasons were easy to sync, streamlined app and features and E2E encryption. I don't feel safe with my notes in plain text on my devices, and with notesnook I can always export to markdown if I need

I do think this a need feature as someone who used to use obisidian too. I used to use this feature a ton. So if this can be implemented here that would make for small but huge detail for notesnook. Also it's very neat and doesn't require you to leave your keyboard while typing just jot everything you are thinking about at that moment.

Thos definitely needs upvoting, as the pain of connecting a note by going to a tab is painful experience, and just creates friction to knowledge work.
