I’ve noticed something similar with copying from google docs. I’ve copped text into a plain text editor and then into Notesnook which helped me keep the formatting .

This issue is also still there when sharing/copying text to NN on Android. And oftentimes when clipping web pages.

depending on your u se case - i often just paste into code field, for example when saving social media posts, so code block kinda works here for a seprate, then all formatting is preserved in md

Glad to know I'm not alone in this. For me, for the longest time, copying things in actually made line breaks extra extra spaced out instead of mashed together-- I did turn the default inter-paragraph spacing off now, so it shouldn't be as bad for future notes. but a line-spacing thing in the rich text editor would be cool, just for users to easily damage control and tweak things,
and I hope Notesnook's struggles with line breaks in general can be resolved in the future.
