I tried the Beta on my PC and mobile. Fien between my laptop and desktop, but mobile simply would not work. Synced note previews, but notes don't open, show blank, and then the whole app becomes unresponsive. I uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times. Reverted all devices back to Stable but same issue. Fine on desktop, mobile is unusable. Sync says 'never' and will not complete. This is on a OnePlus 13 with latest Android patch.

For the umpteenth time I deleted all the cache uninstalled the app reinstalled it rebooted the phone, logged into my account and started the initial sync. It says downloading dat. it gets up to number seven I've got about 2,000 notes. It never gets past 7 it just sits there stuck on seven.
If you're using a VPN, try without it. If not, install a VPN and check with it. It could be that your mobile data operator is blocking connections to NN sync server for some reason.
I'm facing a similar issue, hope the team will look into it
hey @golden idol, here some logs from my android device
@crisp vapor looking into it.
thank you!!
Can you try again?
@last basin can you give it a try again and see if it works?
it sure took less time than before but still a really long time
the sync of edits seems to be fixed, its really fast (like before), just the initial sync that is way too long
Noticed it too. Something definitely changed
Can you DM me your email address?
Initial sync as in after starting the app or the sync after logging in?
Initially it was both, now after you said to test to see if it was fixed, it was only the initial sync
Done!
@golden idol I had put aside NN since the error, since it wasn't usable for me. I just tried again now w/ latest Beta on my Windows PC (beta 6) and two android phones (seem to be beta 4). It worked. Seems previously it was the initial sync that just never completed? I updated some notes after initial sync and it is working in both directions. That's great, but I'm a bit gun shy due to the earlier issue. Any idea what was the bottleneck?
