I updated my Mac to version 15.0.1 and ran my usual tests. Unfortunately, I’m still encountering the same issue that I saw in versions 14.6.1 and 14.7: pasting an image simply doesn’t work.
I always swap the Control and Command keys using System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Modifier Keys. On a hunch, I tried unswapping them, and pasting an image using Command-V worked! I re-swapped them, and discovered that pressing Command-V (but not Control-V) pastes the image. It turns out that Command-V continues to function as the paste command, regardless of how the Modifier Keys are mapped.
A bit of background: I’ve been doing contract programming on Macs since 1986 (starting with the original 9” Mac—fun to experiment with, but not ideal for serious programming). Over the years, I’ve spent about 15 years working on Macs, including all of the last 3-4 years. One of the first settings I configure on any new Mac is swapping the Control and Command keys, and I’ve never had an issue pasting with Control-V until now.
It seems that Notesnook may be processing these keys before macOS applies the swap. It would be fantastic if Notesnook could process these keys post-swap.
Thank you so much for all your help and support!
