#Copy-pasting images from Chromium-based browsers to NN fails (v3.0.13 - Windows 11)

Copy-pasting images from a Chromium-based browser (tested with Vivaldi & Brave - Windows 11) to NN fails. Only the outline of the image shows up at the note and the actual image data/ attachment does not get uploaded at all. At the same time, copy-pasting from Firefox-based browsers to NN works ok (tested with WaterFox & Mullvad Browser). Also, if you copy paste from a Chromium-based browsers to another app first (like Windows Paint), then you can re-copy the image and paste it to NN succesfully.

Possibly something to do with image formats / clipboard encoding used by different apps? @molten lodge please check.

Looking into this.

I can confirm this issue. When copy & pasting an article with images from a browser into Notesnook, no images are pasted. Either it looks like in this screenshot or the images are left out altogether.

Sth similar is happening with web clipper, where I couldn't bring over any images from the same websites either, no matter what mode I selected in the web clipper add-on.

For me the copy & paste issue is also happening with a Firefox-based browser.

Browsers tested:
Brave (Chromium)
Librewolf (Firefox)

Tested a couple of websites and also verified whether the website itself might be the issue by copy & pasting into OneNote and Joplin. Both worked ok.

@molten lodge Any updates on this issue? I've already subscribed to the premium plan. Just wondering whether I wait with notes migration, as it's sth that I use daily.

@plush basin this should be working now. Can you try again?

Web clipper will be updated soon.

# molten lodge Web clipper will be updated soon.

When I've tested before on Desktop it resulted in the same issue than before, as I just retested it again (after a successful test on the web version) before, it now indeed seems to work on the Desktop version as well ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi, the web clipper only works if we have app.notesnook.com opened in another tab. it doesnt work if we dont have the app.notesnook.com opened, despite being logged in the web version. is this intented behaviour?
