For the past few days after the new update, my app has constantly been "uploading new attachments" and its always trying to upload 36 attachments. After it "finishes uploading" it just starts uploading 36 attachments again. It doesn't seem to have an impact on anything since I have been adding and removing attachments without a change to that number. Still, strange.

ok, it stops sometimes, but when i press sync it happens again
probably "constantly" was "every time it syncs"
Many updates later, I am still having this issue.
@fervent fossil are you getting an error or something?
Can you check your app version?
The upload is most defintely failing. Can you download and send me the debug logs?
I went ahead and pressed the sync button again and let it 'finish'

@fervent fossil can you open your attachment manager and see if you have failed attachments? You can hover over the red failed icon to see the actual error.
From the logs it is clear that attachment upload is failing but there's no clear error.

Can you try reuploading one of these files if you have them?
the problem is, all of these tell me there's no linked note
but I did find one that I recognize the filename of

i tried two
the second one did not have a error message popup or any animation
no visual feedback that it failed or it tried to reupload
I see a new error since the notes are trying to sync after this

okay the second one actually uploaded successfully
so it has 2 green ticks now
it still says uploading attachments however, and it's currently stuck at 35 for a long time

while searching for the dev tools, i saw in behavior that cleaning interval was set to daily
the thing is, i made sure to set it to one year on all my devices
so that is rather strange

yep, most of the time it allows me to upload now
Yes, just switch to the network tab and you'll see the failed requests.
Maybe it's empty at the moment since it's stuck uploading the 34/35 attachment?
The issue with the attachment that disappeared is still unresolved, but I managed to catch my laptop having a merge conflict with the version of it from last year
since I updated my laptop's notesnook recently
