I recently updated to 3.0.2 of the Notesnook app on IOS and when I went to login using my password manager it failed and I received a strange error. Tried password manually still failed. I deleted the app and downloaded again still failed. Tried to just reset the password. Then recieved a similar error code below Can't find variable: indexedDB

Can anyone offer and assistance? This happen at a time when I noticed several other cyber type issues like both proton and Mullvad VPN being half broken.Then when on Wi-Fi found my encrypted DNS that I configured was being bypassed,my phone stays in lockdown mode with VPN and Encrypted DNS, screen time locked down nearly everything home router WPA3 5G max security and much more. Use Security Hardware keys for Apple ID However, I know all Apple and Google hand everything over to
Government contractors. So even with a decent password it is hackable, I would like Notesnook to allow premium paying customers like myself to use Yubico hardware keys for authentication if they choose to though a password manager to make user to implement as a daily driver, to get outside the possibility was hacked my file size in notes was at least 200 notes not sure what limits are?

have you tried the web version instead?

you can use your yubi for the app lock function

Yes, cannot sign in or reset password in web version. Sounds great on using the Yubikey !!!

@surreal field there was a discussion I had with the dev yesterday on Telegram. He said he will add support for hardware keys as 2FA once prf support rolls out to more browsers like FF and on webkit as well. But as of now a Yubikey can be used as a simple app lock like Nomad said.

Legend, I am not paying for Notesnook unless I can regain access to my notes save set with saved password then once I have that will require hardware key use to have any trust in Notesnook again. I did not forget my password either Notesnook is corrupted and reset the password to an unknown password or Fedbots using IMSI Catchers did this, I will be dumping iPhone soon and will looking at Linux based phone with my own encryption coded by me, With an immutable locked private OS. Not sure Notesnook supports APK files for application that can handle hardware key though Yubico application could be acceptable till I get rid of NFC type and get one with USB-C interface then no app just straight from hardware key. I am law abiding but I truly despise people who try and steal my hard work!! Live free or die and I will confront anyone hacking me with as if they are breaking in my house so with what ever force I feel is required depending on what they have done! B

Also, I will require verifying open source Notesnook code to see where vulnerabilities are then I will set up in a VM and practice breaking it if I can then Notesnook fails to meet my standards!

github code is open and there to test, and please share what you will find trying to break it, i think devs would love to know if theres any holes to plug

out of curiosity, why would you go with all this trouble setting up an environment your self instead of using something like Tails?

sounds you are heavily into sec, is there a chance something is blocking some requests, or breaking an in-memory db or something like this?

have you tried using a default environment? you can test by creating a new account with different email and testing with default network/os/browser settings (on a vm? separate laptop?) and then with yours and see if that has any effect

Yes, have considered Tails but limited in who and what can interact with there, I will try to login to Notesnook on Laptop however it is Mac and Apple is a sell out to there customers but better than Google, once can afford Linux, will use so tried of people stealing my hard work and research. So many people imagine there is no cost to taking others work companies, employers, peers, and apps, going to generate custom encryption and all notes in language or code that cannot not be deciphered easy. An ancient language not well known then code a conversion key that only I have then if need to place in notes will use that then see if people still want to hack my notes;)

Initially it says authentication server problem then after it says wrong password which it is not because I have a password manager.
