The work submitted below is my Eagle and Swan Nebula. This is a WIP and I want to add more data to it as I can.

180mm focal length
Imx585
2.9 pixel size

#

@quick igloo wake up, new data set just dropped

this is the only correct orientation for eagle what else would you use

#

pillars facing anything other than upwards is terrible

harsh crypt
#

It was a joke too

#

Cause it is sideways during imaging

@harsh crypt might retry

A few suggestions for ya!

  1. Background extraction! Graxpert is usually good to use
  2. PCC or SPCC to turn that orange to a more red

Besides that you stretched the data nicely! Just some improvement and youll be great

ill give this a go to

#

@harsh crypt can you give me focal lenght and sensor size and that

steady fiber
#

oh

harsh crypt

180mm 2.9

steady fiber

its at the top

#

oh it has meta data anyway

tho it might be because m16 isnt the exact location of the image
do you have RA and DEC cordinates?

#

after pcc

#

wait no

#

it does this

#

it makes it even worse XD

#

@harsh crypt

#

i mean it isnt that bad

#

im going to do bg extraction on graxpert

#

@harsh crypt it looks like this in graxpert

#

and then this

#

😭

marsh path
#

both siril and graxpert are crashing on my pc while on @steady fiber 's pc ( witch is identical ) there arent any issues

harsh crypt
steady fiber
#

it worked for him now

harsh crypt
#

You should be doing it in the unstretched file tho

steady fiber
#

why does it look better tho 😭

#

oh

harsh crypt
#

I use spcc and had no issues

harsh crypt
#

Its not the data doing that

I used narrowband mode in sirils spcc then input the wavelengths for Ha and Oiii in the r g b channels

steady fiber
#

not that bad

#

kinda clipped

#

yours look so sharper

#

nice but clipped

#

oh well
this is the final result ig
