This was my process: Stacked in Siril with these steps:

Naztronomy Smart Scope script with 1x drizzle and 3 batches (total file count was like 2300).

Auto_BGE script with default params
Plate solving
SPCC with defaults for my S50 settings
VeraLux Hypermetric Stretch script
GraXpert AI denoise script
Cosmic Clarity sharpening
Slight curves and saturation adjustment

and i usually preffer for graxpert bge idk why i dont fell like auto bge is good

Sweet, will try the graxpert version today. My biggest hurdle is figuring out the stretching - I am literally stupid when it comes to that. None of it makes sense. I know auto stretch is not the way to go but manually doing it....I get lost in the weeds. Veralux has been a game changer for me.

yeah veralux stretch can be very confusing some times, i use it too

i like it cuz it can adapt to literally every dataset, but some times u gotta mess around for a bit to see it

It is much more understandable than GHS to me

I just love that VL keeps the colors!! This was my "wow" moment with VL on my data:

Graxpert for background extraction and a slight denoise, then siril for color adjustment and stretching as well as separating stars and then I took the stretched stars and nebula into photoshop for some final tweaks like adding some clarity into the very bright part!
