That was like an hour last year

iron flame
#

its a bit too pink

tidal roost
spark ice
#

all ur stars are blue

#

in the pink one

#

i like the pink tho

#

but something destructive is happening, compare the faint nebulosity between them

#

theres a lot of Ha being clipped in the pink

#

something up with your pixel math i assume

tidal roost
#

gonna take rgb another night

spark ice
#

pixel math of the pink destroyed the faint bits

spark ice
tidal roost
#

fr?

#

do u know any good pixinsight tut?

spark ice
#

for what

tidal roost
#

how to bette rget the faint parts

#

*better

spark ice
#

you just need to fix your pixel math

tidal roost
#

how tho

spark ice
#

well how did u make it

tidal roost
#

i strech it and use mask for the colors like red, green, blue, cyan, magenta

spark ice
#

so you didnt use pixel math?

tidal roost
#

nah

spark ice
#

💀

tidal roost
#

😭

spark ice
#

then just stretch the faint parts more

#

ghs and hist

tidal roost
#

okay

#

but why is pixelmath so good

iron flame
# spark ice 💀

dont act like hes weird for not using pixel math i dont use it either roguefrog

tidal roost
#

how do u do your images yours look amazing

spark ice
iron flame
#

but just normal histogram transforms with a bit of hyperbolic transforms

spark ice
#

separate your color data into mono channels of Ha and OIII and you can process them separately and combine with different pixel math formulas for different looks

tidal roost
#

i use narrowband normalisation

spark ice
#

i find that to be harsh and hard to control

#

you can use pixel math for similar results

iron flame
#

huh

#

i just use normal histogram stretches to adjust colours

tidal roost
#

can yall try to edit it if yall want so i can see how youd do it ?

#

only if u want ofc

spark ice
#

im a really slow processor and i dont have a lot of time rn lol sorry

tidal roost
#

nah i get it no worries

iron flame
#

i got some time

iron flame
#

stuff always comes up for no reason lol
