You poor soul 😢
all i had was a crappy phone camera, hopes and dreams, (that will disappear)
Oof. You planning on getting something legit to take pictures?
Where are you in the world ? Even in the center of my capital city I'm able to observe a few tenths of stars
empty pockets really
im in a city so luck is not in the game
Yes ?
I wouldn't have thought that such places, where you can't even observe the brightest stars would exist
i have multiple pictures of the sky actually
i hope i dont get doxxed
@dusky frigate
Well smartphones tend to have poor sensitivity at very low level of luminosity so I'm not surprised to not find any stars in your photos
But with the naked eye, can you see some ?
THERE ISNT A SINGLE STAR
i tried looking for comet lemmon, its going to be bright
but THERE IS NO COMET
Well if you can't even observe Vega there' absolutely no chance to see the comet
I don't know what to say
take pictures of the night sky and pray to find a star
Have you tried with long exposure ?
as in like leave phone then wait for bright thingies
yeah i know what long exposure is
my old ass smartphone cant probably handle it
even with long exposure ill be picturing skyglow instead
im in the core of light pollution brochacho
is it cloudy
you cant see stars when its cloudy
...
AH yes! ofcourse! after having a problem with light pollution , it MUST BE THE PROBLEM!
I don’t think there is a single place on earth where not a single star would be visible even if its bortle 9
It 100% had to be cloudy when you were taking the images if you couldn’t see anything
Unless you like stare directly into a bright light while looking at the Sky or something
I believe the brightest stars should be visible regardless of the high light pollution conditions. Take Sirius, or Arcturus for example, they should remain visible even in extreme pollution levels
anyways waited till 11PM and found multiple stars
i kinda aligned them which might not be accurate

this is some found footage stuff ðŸ˜
