Hi all, I am in the very early days of learning this beautiful hobby and at the moment likely have equipment not fit for purpose but I want to first make sure I'm not doing anything noobish.
I only have a Celestron 130eq and aware its really not that great for astrophotography.
Camera isn't fantastic either - Sony A230 DSLR
I am upgrading both very soon.
Is the noise in tonight's Lemmon attempt simply a combo of the both not being fit for purpose? Or was ISO just too high?
Camera setup as RAW, manual focus, etc.
ISO 3200
Exposures 2s-6s, varied
9 Light frames
10 dark frames at ISO 3200
Stacked in DSS and Auto-stretched in siril
