@naive zephyr you wanna try this?
i'm currently trying to process it. but it so tiny in the frame that noise is an issue :/ i will show you the final result when i'm done 😉
Ok thank you
Thank you man. I see what you mean by the noise I think small objects are not good for my evoguide lol
yeah :/ try it on a big target like the north american nebula i think you are going to get great result ^^
what camera are you using ?
Yeah definitely I did try sadr region before
Canon eos 600D
dang ! that look awesome !
Thank you
Not modded btw
do you have the raw file :3
Something went wrong with the actual star sadr and it looks weird tho
oh ! how many times is it ? i have a canon m50 not modded so slightly newer than yours ^^
yeah i saw that xD
Nice can I see some images you have?
sure !
i posted my elephant trunk nebula here https://discord.com/channels/794642864218439681/1413130830527594526
thank you ^^ you have a lot of vignette on the sadr picture 😮
Sorry I completely what’s vignette?
Like walking noise or sm else?
no, it's the black border that you have around your image. it mean that your sensor is to big so the scope cannot iluminate enough of the sensor
Oh
yeah aps c sensor like the one you have is consider big in astro so not all scope support it. especially guide scope because they are build to be used with very small sensor
Yeah I want to get the player one Neptune-c II camera
oh ! i just looked you can get some great result with it ! https://app.astrobin.com/equipment/explorer/sensor/566/sony-imx464-color
Sony IMX464 (color) is an equipment item of class Sensor on AstroBin equipment database.
Yeah it is a planetary camera but does good for deep sky
Also really cheap
Like £250
yeah that's great bang for the buck !
%100
I did actually mod my 450D but now there’s something wrong with the sd card slot
oh :/ did you try using it with a computer and using astro capture software like nina ?
Nope not yet my laptop is really bad so I can’t really
what laptop do you have ?
i'll give it a go in a bit
It’s just some old acer one
Ok thanks
if it can run a browser then you can run nina on it fine 😉
i must say the last picture i canno't get close to what you have done ! congrats 😄
i don't know what you did but you did good
lol it was two whole nights of imaging
About 5 or 6 hours in total
i mean for the processing part of it. i'm not able to extract as much data as you did
Yeah processing is very difficult so I had to get some professional to help
Oh I see! That explain things ^^
Yes
thats a pretty nice data man!
.
Thanks man nice process
