#Beginner canon to attach to telescope

Dob and 130pds, planets and nebula all have different requirements
If you were to get the dob a dslr wouldn't be able to focus and I'd suggest a planetary cam instead of the dslr, vice versa if you were to get the 130pds (assuming you have a tracking mount to use it on)
a dob is looking more like my option as it's cheaper as i'd need to pay lots for a mount for the tracking versions. would a planetary cam still see nebulas?
It can but it's much harder to shoot them
Planetary cam's sensors are small and the focal length on dobs is long
so what camera would you say is best to capture planets and nebs
The best you can get to attempt to shoot both is a camera with a 585 sensor, but as I said planets and nebulae have different requirements. You have to sacrifice something
yeah sounds like i need to make a decision between wanting to capture planets or nebulas
correct
DSLRs aren’t good astrocams
Not necessarily
With a proper eq platform you can Definetly do planetary and nebulae, the Neptune Series of player one is good for both imo
think i've set myself on this 8" classic 200p so need a camera to suit that
think im going to go mostly planets
with an extra 50 quid you could get yourself this beauty

i was looking at this one. pretty expensive in uk 🙁
Retailers pump up the price a lot
Buying it from the website is cheaper
as VAT / Import is covered
So the price you see there is the price you pay
