I'm thinking about buying one of these while it's still cheap. I know a few people have one, so how has it been?
My current setup is mount (OnStep, 12V 3A + USB for data), a cooled cam (12V + USB), a guide cam (USB), 2x USB dew heaters. I intend to add an electronic focuser and EFW soon. I currently do this with a powered USB hub and 3 wall-warts, which I'd like to reduce to 1.
If I replace my laptop with an embedded PC or Raspberry Pi, would the 241 be able to power that as well?

I got this to power a pi 5 and heaters, and see if i can keep cables tidy. Its still in the mail tho 
It should power the pi 5 with the type C port from what the specs say

The only thing is that it's a bit stingy with the USB data ports. There's one for the laptop, two blues for the cameras, the white one's for the mount, that leaves the USB-C. I want to add an EFW and focuser so I at least need a splitter. I guess that's my fault for buying a camera without a hub

I'm aiming for a dslr, mount and guide camera + dew heaters. I read it can be stingy but only one way to find out. I got a bigger power supply in case my 5A one isnt enough

Just an update
It will power the pi5 via the usb 5v ports
The type C wont power it on
But it does connect everything through it for me
Still setting it up and i can let you know better

I had trouble connecting with stellarmate at first but restarting after setting up the gear solved the issue for me

Interesting that usb c doesn’t power the pi. It should at least deliver the standard 5V 3A, even if it can’t supply the 5V 5A best case.

Me too. Works ok, but that usb-c is a stupid design choice. Either make it PD compatible (to power a mini pc) or put a normal usb 3 which is a bit more robust...
I kind of prefer the gemini hub. More simple and more usable ports.
