I am slowly going through my old data backlog I never processed or wasn´t happy with at the first time.
This is a crop-in on the Fish head Nebula, with the data taken over the course of 4 nights, which amounted to almost 20h in SOH Palette.
The data has issues with Vignetting I couldn´t solve due to bad and some missing flats, without that I feel like it could have been stretched even a little further to bring out more of the darker regions, because there also actually is some nebula there. Still feel like its too good to just leave it sitting around on my drive and I felt like I needed to give it another go, so here we are 🙂

I know what you mean, its a harsh contrast, but its not clipped as per Histogramm
Mostly a result of the stretching where I sepcifically tried to not stretch the darker parts but only the lighter ones to try to hide some of the vignetting

I can't tell if the background is a little green, or if it's just the purples offsetting the color balance in my eyes to the point that anything surrounding it has the illusion of looking green

Nevertheless, the vibrant blue and purple looks neat on this target, fun color palette
