Interferometry:

limpid geode
low lance
#

If you thought collimation was bad well collimating the mirrors for interferometry is like 5 billion times worse

#

Unless you mean a different kind of interferometry in which case I'm gonna need you to clarify

low lance
#

Also two telescopes will be looking at two different atmospheric cell which means different blur rates which also means the light wont aligne properly so ontop of all that you also need an adaptive optics and a way to fix the delay of arrival of the light caused by the atmosphere

#

So I'll reinstate again big pain in the gluteus maximus

Alright lets do a new one this time im gonna be more specific

#

its very helpful for breaking down assignments and trying to troubleshoot things

#

or even learning. GPT is very good at tht

low lance

Chatbots are helpful for quite a bit of things, yet they get misused as a replacement for google.

No, ChatGPT isn’t the source of Knowledge you should have.
No, ChatGPT doesn’t know everything and isn’t flawless.

low lance
# mossy mason I agree. For solving hw? No do that yourself otherwise u wont learn a thing. But...

It really depends on how you do it for example what i do for English homework is make AI write the overall essay and then i go in and rewrite it almost completely saves me a ton of work and time because writing out the essay is not necessarily hard but it's what takes the longest this way i can finish an essay that would otherwise taken me at least two days if not more in just a few hours and teachers cant even argue that the work isn't mine because it is it's almost entirely written by me and the only reason why it's not fully written by me is because well some sentences are perfect and i literally cannot change them and also i end up still learning because i have re read the essay at least 10 times over during the time i was rewriting which helps you learn sentence structure and grammar

low lance
#

On the other hand AI is great for anything math releated stuff that doesn't have multiple answers to them they simply have 1

low lance
#

The people who dont learn are the ones who only copy and paste

strong hatch
#

using ai and changing the wording a little isnt learning

low lance
strong hatch
#

thats called using your limited vocabulary to trick the teacher into thinking you wrote it yourself

Claude is really nice for "advanced" stuff. It helped me 3d render the dzhanibekov effect using quaternions and python

You sort of have to know what you are doing to use ai properly. Took me 3 months of reading the landau for theoretical physics and lots of python documentation madwithjoy

Well, it works so and before you go crying about "but, but English teaches you critical thinking and how to connect ideas." Literally, everyone of my classes does that it's not special. English is definitely on one of the more useless classes I have in school at least for the stuff I want to do in the future so I'd rather do what i just said.

I expected the filters to have halos at this f stop but im not seeing those either

low lance
# ornate glen

Gang that filter is definitely experience bandpass shift unless it's specifically made for f2

low lance
#

Is the filter made for f2

ornate glen
#

But it is advertised as getting optimal signal as fast as f/3

#

So if I had to guess, the bandpass shift isnt as severe as with other 3 nm filters.

#

But I am well aware that some band pass shift is occurring. kekw

low lance

Okay then it fine ig i mean the image has great structure so it's probably doing it's job

limpid geode

# limpid geode

Really depends on what the homemade EQ mount is equivalent of. If you used the equip to make it equivalent of an EQ6 then put the 6" reflector and 3" frac on it for guiding. Or you could put the 6" on as a regular item, switch it up now and again with the 3".

On the other hand if the homemade is equivalent to an EQ1 then you might want to be sure you don't look at it wrong.

Either way chroma NB filters are better

Tbh, I feel that at f/3.6, antila would be better due to the fact that antila is a flat top

Yeah that light has like the worst possible CRI

But it would be nice since you could filter it out

Also white leds only need 1 diode. Not 3. White leds are generally blue leds with a phosphor coating that emits white light when excited iirc

you could do a blue led and a much narrower band yellow phosphor, and itd be white, but even worse cri
