Hey Guys, I'm currently looking for a new telescope to mess around with for my CEM70 mount.
I got this mount back in the summer of 2024 and it's been in useage ever since. I'm very happy with pretty much every part of the mount and I never had any issues whatsoever. Throughout this year I've put various scopes onto this mount but I've always been told that I don't take advantage of the mounts weight capacity. I've used the mount with an Esprit 100ED, a 150mm Newt and various smaller refractors (Evolux 62ED, TAK60, FRA300). Now I'm kind of interested in going bigger.
With the telescope in question I plan to mainly shoot galaxies, planetary nebulae and planets. What kind of telescope or which telescope should I specifically go for? My budget would preferably be up to 3000 SFr.- or at most 5000 SFr.- (including all accessories).
Thanks for the help!
Timothe
