I don't have a fancy rig or an expensive telescope, but I managed to nab this through my eyepiece with my phone. Nowhere near as impressive as most of the other pics on here, but I am happy with it 🙂

Yess this was my starting point too all you need to do is reduce exposure on your phone by the smallest bit and you'll see bands fade in!

What telescope are you using?
bit of a late response, but it was an old one that i found in storage. pretty sure it's just been collecting dust for like the past 10 years. it's a Galileo G-45-LT ME reflector. 4.5 inch ap, 900mm focal length. i want to save up for something with a little bit more aperture and hopefully goto and tracking so i can take some cool long exposure pictures of more distant objects
