Im looking for a new mount and found the ioptron gem28. It has a similar price to the heq5 pro. I saw that it has a payload capacity of 12kg, but the mount isn't really big, is it safe to put on it a skywatcher 150pds? Also there is an ipolar variant with a camera instead of a polarscope, but it's much more expensive, I know I can polar align on sharpcap without the polar scope, so is the ipolar worth it?

If necessary, the setup would be: this mount, Skywatcher 150pds, zwo asi585mc pro, skywatcher evoguide 50ed, zwo asi224mc
Any suggestions for another mount below 1600€ accepted
Ragdoll 17
20kg payload for 1300$
Is this the price of the mount head only, or mount and tripod?
Head only
So, that makes the ragdoll 17 a bit too expensive. Back to my original question
With an eq5 tripod and the adapter isn't it below 1600?
You don't have to get the carbon fiber tripod
Right
Is this the adapter?
This seems to do the opposite, adapt a cf tripod to an older umi17 or eq5 type of mount
Is that on their site?
Sorry I searched something else
This is the adapter
Yes that one
