Yippee
no this is stable
Kk
i use siriL 1.4.0 beta
nice to all!
Really nice and natural processes
I especially like omega centauri and the dust on rcw53c
Yeah there are amazing
@inland wren
better bge than mine
Polo 👕
your dust is noice
yeah
Nice and natural colours
@solemn patrol focal lenght and pixel size?
1000mm 3.76
I'm assuming the sensor is the imx533
thanks
What scope and mount were these captured with?
also bortle?
Just curious, very nice results for bortle 7 ngl
ty pookie
i would love to see the process!
Now I'm busy, I'll send you my processes tomorrow
sweet
You'll have to wait longer cause I have them on my other pc
grrrr
This is the first time I process a globular cluster so I have no idea what I'm doing
For this I went with a very aggressive process, it's weird but I kinda like it
I like this target, not so much the processing lol, bge was tricky
Maybe this is slightly better
@solemn patrol lemme know what you think
i think you could go harder on the contrast but the dust is nice
Like this? Idk I think this is too much
the background is better but yeah the dust is nearly clipped
I made sure not to clip but yeah it's close
what setup did you use?
camera and tlescope i mean
Yeah! Much better colors than last time, though personally, I much prefer some more blue in there, and more saturated reds to reflect the real colors of Ha and OIII
siriL get hard days at trying to change collors
PixInsight is definitely better at a lot of things, but in terms of colors and and stretching, i think pix and siril are pretty much the same. GHS and Curves Transformation goes a loooong way.
Getting the colors right can be very mentally challenging actually, at least for me. Everything will look wrong when you try to change the colors, even if they're better. Sometimes you just gotta try some crazy stretches on your data and see if it looks good when your eyes get used to it
and then ofc with enough practice, it will become easier to change up without it looking weird
3.76 1000mm
i guessed 1000mm and 3.78um i was so close!
fr lol
@iron kelp
Yet
Star less version Of my dumb idiotic process
huh
i mean you can see the oiii\
@solemn patrol what's your pfp?
rcw53c
its one of the datasets here
idk which one
in order?
No
@solemn patrol really fun data to play around with. theres probably a billion ways to process this one. I enjoyed playing with the curves around the HA and O3 regions. Can't wait to try the others. I'll no doubt revisit this one again. Really good format for posting data...i really like the lucky dip format! 🤩
Wow! I didn’t even know my data could be used like this
@solemn patrol 👍
@solemn patrol
@granite geode most of this is old data but 100% beats ashen
what are you smoking
ur dragons egg is good
that about it
Holy shit niiiice
Long before time had a name
my try after long time not editing anything, i think its decent tho but too much noise and too less stars
The colours and dust control is good however the contrast and number of stars is very subdued
im waiting
