Recently I visited my observatory to use their solar telescopes and take some photos of the sun! Whilst taking the photos I managed to capture a solar flare going off as seen in the right hand side of the image! I hope you all like it and feel free to ask questions!

Not a bad solar image, but those are called Prominences, not Flares. Looks decent though!

Oh sorry I was referring to these images here!
Since it's an inverted image the colours are flipped, but I watched the flare go off :))
