dumb idea; do you think you could have the change to bag an expoplanet?i know there faint has well and are small but with 24 inches of apature maybe its doable? and some have quite large separations. i was thinking of DH Tauri

I mean transit light curves are easy with ~any scope, but direct imaging - no chance as Yoship's has explained

But seriously it could be a fun challenge one day when the seeing is too bad for planets and the moon too full for deep sky (which is about every clear night I had in the last year)
