poor seeing but still gets nasa quality images stop hacking ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
If that's poor seeing then I'm shooting through a swimming pool ๐
I mean this was Jupiter some 30mins before
unbelievable! Great image!
Ight mods check his pc this guys hacking
dumb idea; do you think you could have the change to bag an expoplanet?i know there faint has well and are small but with 24 inches of apature maybe its doable? and some have quite large separations. i was thinking of DH Tauri
Canโt nasa barely pick em up?
Spectroscopically? Yes, but actually getting a photo of a star and an orbiting exoplanet is (I'm pretty sure) impossible with 24 inches. I think the combined three VLTs in Chile can split the planets, but that's a humongous resolution.
nasa doesnt try. esa does it on a regular basis
i meant eso mb
I mean transit light curves are easy with ~any scope, but direct imaging - no chance as Yoship's has explained
Tom youโre sharing this like itโs still not better than 95% of peoples Jupiter images ๐
Iโm not sure Tom knows how to post a bad image
I think the pandora mission will do it
It's specifically for studying exoplanets, so NASA does do it
