Go ahead and have at it I was getting some strange images when using the darks with the Ha Data... 1600mmPro ED80 B3 or B4 Skies

i have the same issue with the Ha data

Idk what’s wrong with the flats

Try it without flats and it’s fine

i stacked all without the darks and its solved

maybe the darks where confusing the dss

Update, I stacked in Siril and its was fine.. DSS was just being dumb

never tried a Ha-SII bicolor before, but it looks pretty dope

ty, i did (1.5Ha-SII, 0.75SII, SII)

and then HSS for stars because the pixelmath nuked the brightest stars

Also the stacks are quite misaligned, so this was the best crop I could do

I also found the issue making your Ha stack weird

Basically the 2 90s exposures messed it up because you calibrated it with 180s darks

so for many pixels in the SII images, the dark was actually brighter than your light which is not supposed to happen

Because the calibration is (light-dark)/flat which would result in a negative value because of the mismatched exposure lengths

Did you notice anything weird with the S2? I may or may not have had a little scratch for imperfection on the lens that I was able to correct while cleaning.

what is tilt and how i can solve it? like i had a 3.22 up right tilt 3.80 middle 4.27 up left 3.89 right down and 4.51 left down

Not the slightest. Flats are pretty good at correcting that stuff

the subs are 30 seconds, if i get like 5 to 10 seconds i'll get less tilt?

That has nothing to do with tilt

Basically the focal plane.. is a plane

And the sensor is also a plane

But the two planes are tilted relative to each other

Ok good. Well I just cleaned them all and they look really good now. I was upset because I thought I searched it. It’s the Antlia 3mn sii

on a newton is fairly simple to correct tilt, with a tilt plate, or with adapters that tilt as well, but its a pain to get it 100% fixed

regarding the original post, this is typical for the 1600, microlensing or what they call it , when the weather conditions are not great this happens, data was fun to play wtih thou, thank you
