i have the same issue with the Ha data

humble oriole
#

Try it without flats and it’s fine

reef flower
#

i stacked all without the darks and its solved

#

maybe the darks where confusing the dss

humble oriole
#

i meant the darkas

#

im not sure

reef flower
#

what order whould i use in siii and ha?

#

i dont know the best one

humble oriole
#

honestly idk thats why i posted it to see if anyone could figure it out

never tried a Ha-SII bicolor before, but it looks pretty dope

#

i'll do the ha-siii and siii-ha collors to see whats best

#

and then HSS for stars because the pixelmath nuked the brightest stars

#

Also the stacks are quite misaligned, so this was the best crop I could do

i only ussed collors composition

#

idk how to play with pixelmath yet, i am working on it

#

I’m new to processing. I’m waiting for my 45 day trial for pixinsight

And RC Astro tools

humble oriole
#

Nice. That looks good.

Basically the 2 90s exposures messed it up because you calibrated it with 180s darks

#

so for many pixels in the SII images, the dark was actually brighter than your light which is not supposed to happen

#

Because the calibration is (light-dark)/flat which would result in a negative value because of the mismatched exposure lengths

#

hey!

#

can anyone answer this for me?

what is tilt and how i can solve it? like i had a 3.22 up right tilt 3.80 middle 4.27 up left 3.89 right down and 4.51 left down

#

this is the image. can anyone help me?

burnt dust
#

Basically the sensor plane is tilted relative to the focal plane

reef flower
#

and how i can solve it?

burnt dust
#

Depends on what gear you have

reef flower
#

the subs are 30 seconds, if i get like 5 to 10 seconds i'll get less tilt?

burnt dust
#

Nope it will remain the same

reef flower
burnt dust
#

yup

reef flower
#

so to solve it i'll need a equatorial mount right?

burnt dust
#

That has nothing to do with tilt

#

Basically the focal plane.. is a plane

#

And the sensor is also a plane

#

But the two planes are tilted relative to each other

reef flower
#

oh ok so the problem is in the sensor?

burnt dust
#

Maybe take this to #🤓-ask-a-nerd btw

reef flower
#

i think now i got it

regarding the original post, this is typical for the 1600, microlensing or what they call it , when the weather conditions are not great this happens, data was fun to play wtih thou, thank you
