Guide scope and Cam

Just bought one of each of the following...

My scope is a 6" newt with a 700mm Focal length. I have an Orion optics EQ mount which I'm in the process of modding to convert to Goto using Onstep.

What's your thoughts on these please?
Have I just bought garbage?

Nice! I'm just starting out tbf but I do make sure what I buy is good for the job! Buy cheap buy twice is usually the case!!

in the case not clear is not high end, but nevertheless the 290m is a good and sensitive sensor, and the sv106 a reasonable guiding scope
