Hi,
I'm planning to buy a new strainwave mount to replace my heavy eq6-r pro, I narrowed down my choices between the am5n and wave150i after extensive research. Any reason why I should go with one over the other? I don't mind the price difference and I sure don't need 55 pounds for my 115mm refractor. I'm planning to use it with my existing eq6 tripod.

There are reviews of the am5n everywhere but it's hard to find wave reviews. One of my reasons against zwo is their support. Is their customer support really that bad?

yeah I was looking at the juwei 17 too but after reading it struggles in cold temperatures, I gave up the idea

The Wave is rather new, with ZWO I didn’t notice people complaining about the customer service, maybe its just me

there was a discussion about it in their server just today
they use different materials than other harmonics and handles cold very well
the electromagnetic breaking is giving off heat constantly making the mount “warm”
