I didn't know they were still being made
I'd give serious consideration to binoculars too, especially if dark skies are readily accessible.

yeah for 100 dollars a pair of 7x50s might be your best option, you aren't really gonna get a good scope for that much
and also using both of your eyes to view is so so much more comfortable than one eye

Keep the expectations low
It would be better than these cheap telescope but also don't expect much on binos too
It's fun to use it but keep the EXPECTATIONS low
Otherwise you will end up not using the binos
