i'm no expert, but hereis what i could do with it. LOTS of gradients in all the different panels, and it didnt stack very well. lots of elongated stars and unaligned stars. it you still have the unstacked images, i can give it another try
I have all the unstacked images
You want them?
i'll take a whack at it, yeah
Ok let me send it private
Send me a request
And then later when im in my room ill send it
whats the file size of all the images?
like 14 gb
i dont think that will go into a PM...lol. may have to put it on google drive and share the link in a DM
what did you stack this with?
even with all the doubling....this opne turned out better
deep sky stacker
hmmmmm, i have DSS, i've never had it stack that bad before. i'll stack it in siril and DSS and see which is better
I will try to stack it in siril later
Can you send me the data from that picture?
I did. It's the last picture I posted here
have you bumped your mount?
heres a new stacked one
not really
@bright torrent
wanna try again?
i will try it
if its still with the same star problem i am gonna correct the stars manualy in photoshop
yayy
no more bumped stars haha
what camera and telescope have you used?
thanks
am i dumb or why is the data gray
for me its not
maybe you selected one chanel
ah now its working
Here is your data
thankss
i used all free softwares to get this result
SiriL as processor, Graxpert to: denoise, deconvolution and background extraction, Cosmic clarity as BlurX and a lil photoshop for better stars but nothing nescessery
i can teach you if you want
i am trying it rt
but i think the stars are a bit too big
maybe cosmic clarity will think they are nebulosity
here it is, i am not good at m47 images
but i loved the data
its not that bad lol
thank you
@ocean egret i see you got some help. i was away all day, so sorry for not getting back to you, i went ahead and processed the new fit file you posted. if you zoom way in, there is still some doubling of the stars, but this fit file is soooo much better than your other one. here is what i did with the data. hope you like it
Its alright no problem at all it looks very good
@ocean egret gave it a crack! generally not bad data! main suggestions are to achieve slightly better focus, and recollimate as it seems to be out, and ofcourse more integration time, but given all those circumstances it was generally not bad data at all!
And a link to the linear MSGR+BlurX image (Used my data for MSGR reference) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rYjWagHp9ZqPH8DNvCTh6N_1UIH_Wts8/view?usp=sharing
