I like this pic
I'm 13, love this hobby!
cool..! I started off when I was like 10-11 years old
how long have u been at it?
I actually started like 2 years ago so I guess we started at the same age.
I've been playing around with my phone recently, everytime I take a pic I gotta zoom in to actually see stars and the other stuff, we got clouds here rn so no chance for me to try and fix this
about 4 - 5 years, lockdown kinda helped me get the interest
cool! Whats your scope?
like, your rig
Same here as of now, cloudy as hell
Here is my rig:
Scope(DSO): RedCat-71(348mm fl) + guide scope (200mm fl)
Scope(Planetary): Mak Bresser 152(1900mm fl, 6 inch mirror)
Mount: iOptron GEM-28
Camera: ASI183MC pro (main), ASI768(i think) (guide)
Sometimes use a filter (wardrobe)
Also, I use an ASIAir to make things easier (Started off with stellarmate and astroberry, some parts of those were good)
My rig:
Telescope: SkyWatcher R80/400
Mount: SkyWatcher EQ6R
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX85
No guiding, and no computer control, no filters.
cool..!
I started off with my planetary scope and a manual mount
ripped off the lens from a webcam to expose the bare sensor
worked like a charm (for a while)
also used my DSLR back then
