Wow
god damn
Woah that’s incredible
This is a killer photo dude!
I feel like a lot of the Ha is being subdued?
It's just a neutral color when that region is all Ha and OIII.
Regardless the sharpness is incredible
Awesome detail
Yes, I did reduced a lot of Ha in the background. It was just whole red background before. It was bit distracting
Oh wow, this might actually be the best Crescent Nebula image I've ever seen, like ever
genuinely not sure if many things top this image
really good detail and visual fidelity on the Soap Bubble too, absolutely fantastic
Omg the soap bubble is so round and clean and beautiful and perfect!!! Oh.. and the rest of the picture is also pretty nice
I guess
wow, did you subframe select for the photo? whats your exposure time? and I also wonder if you check for seeing condition before imaging this
This is insane
44 hours of exposure
Ahh
ty bro
5min each
If I had better mount. i would go for 20min. However, with CEM60, I already had to discard 30hours of data for having bad seeing or bad tracking.
Hopefully, my Paramount MX+ can help me with that
ah fairs, defo should improve it
looks amazing, wish to have something like this in the future
so subframe select yes? fwhm?
insane rig
Yes i used subframe selector in pixinsight
damn is that your own remote observatory?
did you just decide randomly one day you gonna buy a land on some remote country part, and just build something on it? I wonder how the building process went
the absolute dream my friend
even got the kettle, a must need on a cold astro night
My local astronomy club built observing site in the Mojave desert
That include 30+ telescope pads and 30+ ROR observatory.
I took one of that. Mine was it fully completed when I took over
that is crazy, who runs this astronomy club? is this a big club? so that land do belongs to the club
So I had to finish some construction
did you have to buy it off them
The Goat Mountain Astronomical Research Station, or GMARS, serves as the dark sky site for the Riverside Astronomical Society, a non-profit organization that brings the joy of astronomy to the public throughout California's Inland Empire.
It is not buy. They just assign right to use occupy and use the observatory to the members.
There is initial assignment fee. Also annual renewal fee. Also, long waiting line
ah, so how long can you occupy this for yourself?
so are the ac and microwave stuff all your own?
Those are my own stuffs
nice, woud like something smiliar in the future, how many clear skies a year do you get on avergae
It is in the Mojave Desert

I wish I had enough clear skies that I can just afford to dump 30 hours of data away
I never counted but I would say more than 280 clear nights.
