holy wow that's a lot of Oiii data
I agree, a transition gradient is needed, probably too aggressive w curves or smthing
yea, needs tweakinh
Oiii looks sick tho
nice your signals crazy
idk how i feel about the background being so oiii dominated
but as a southern person idk the region very well
so i could be wrong
it’s mostly ha, but i can see that oiii being overpowering that ha
@hallow narwhal is this with blurx, which blurx version, and if so how much strength you use
correct only, but this is downsampled image
what do you mean correct only
And yes I see it's downsampled but not what I was worried about
hmm i prefer the unusual oiii dominated image, after all it is HOO
blurx on correct only setting
Im getting an esprit + imx 571 soon and just wanna get a feel with what kind of resolution I can work with
what is the correct only setting
Ohh
So not sharpening?
have you seen my lagoon
@ripe peak
same gear?
blurx with star correction only, again?
ye
That's excellent for no deconvolution
I'd be curious to see what it looks like if you touched the sharpening sliders
the lagoon above is with decon at 50% for nonstellar amd 5% for stellar
keep in mind the resolution at low altitude objects like lagoon is pretty meh
but thats like 1.6-7" resolution
ah you told me you only did star correction for that ok
yeah nevermind that was w standard, the crescent is correction only
keep in mind correction only also does some decon/sharpening
@ripe peak correct only corrects for distortion and stars, so your image could look more sharpened especially if star shapes are bad, its just doesnt do any "extra" sharpening
Im well aware 👍
There's non stellar and stellar sharpening and distortion correction
