3 hours on the lagoon nebula

This was my first ever attempt at this nebula as I didn’t have good equipment last Milky Way seasons and I got some help with it

You have some walking noise, but not bad at all. Also, if you have pointed a bit to the north you would have also included in the image M21 (it is next to M20, just outside the frame).

Yeah I get walking noise a lot my camera has a bad noise readout

Dithering can help a lot. You can stop the shooting setion for a few section move the mount slightly and then continue. Repeat at least 3 times and the walking noise will be pretty much gone.

Ok I usually just leave my equipment outside all night then go to bed so I can’t always do that

I usually dither about once every 30 minutes a small amount.
