Soap bubble coming out really nice!
wicked
Damn that's a lot of Oiii data
Lol I wish my OIII was as strong as Ha.
Starless pls
Merci beaucoup!
Btw what does OIII stand for?
Ik it's like HA for hydrogen alpha
Oxygen III
Doubly ionized oxygen of course
Apparently OIII is the spectroscopic notation.
wonder if i could get anywhere near that ha with a 20nm bandpass ha filter and modded dslr
This was with my modified 450D and 10nm Ha / 20nm OIII.
Like 8hrs of 300" subs low bortle 6
mm, my bandpass would be twice as wide, im b4, no astrodark rn, can maybe push like 1min30sec subs at F2
doubt it though
With f2 and a modified DSLR + darker skies (even with no astrodark) you'd likely have a pretty big advantage.
Even with the wider bandpass
My Z61 was around f/5
yeaaaah but ths is civil twilight type of no astrodark
Ahh yea that's prolly worse than I'm imagining
i also have 0 broadband data on it, would just be the "ha"
Yea HOO is great by itself
i could prob pick up a cheap 20nm "Oiii" filter as well but idk
Oh lol I thought you have some sort of duoband filter for the roki
nah i have some random filter from aliexpress that screws into the front, dont think i can get a duoband for my setup that doesnt go in the front since i dont have a filter drawer
What DSLR?
There's a few clip in options from optolong/SVBONY for aps-c Canon.
I used their CLS clip in filter and it did nicely.
canon M5
Ahhh
