nah, it's like bird eye jones telescope where the focal length is doubled by having a barlow in the focuser
which do you recommend? i would like to see planets and possibly nebulae and galaxies
with what kind of budget and for what goto mount?
budget around 500-700 euros and im using a celestron nexstar mount
that mount won't be able to hold any newt really
that sucks
if you're ok with giving up goto you could get a 8" dob, they're really good for visual
the skywatcher classic 200p is a popular pick
i have heard of it, let me look. thanks already
Are you looking to go into astrophotography in the future?
might do that, was focusing on visual first.
Yea, a dob would be a solid bet then, for AP a EQ mount is almost vital to have pinpoint stars, but visual it doesn’t really matter, sometimes it may hinder the experience. I think the dob is the way for you
and what if i wanted to maybe get something smaller like maybe a cassegrain or something
Celestron makes these nice scopes like the 4SE, 5SE, 6SE and 8SE. They are nice for planets and galaxy, a bit tight for nebula because of how zoomed in they are. Choose the highest aperture that can fit within your price range. They come it’s a motorised mount, which isn’t of the best quality and precision, but it will help a lot in the early stages.
didn't you nexstar mount come with an sct?
that mount was collecting dust in the basement i have no idea actually
Should i get a skywatcher 150/750 or a 150/1200? Newtonians for astrophotography
