i recently ordered a telescope which is my first ever one which cost me ~$316 AUD and it isn't really a well known brand, ig thats why its so cheap, its called MEEZAA and i ordered it from Amazon, it has 90mm Aperture and 800mm Focal tube length, only now i have realised that you would need more than 90mm to see what i want to see, my main goal is to see a reasonably clear image of the moon, the cloud bands of jupiter, the ring of saturn and any other things inbetween, **What specifications are needed to see those things and will I be able to see these things. Nooooo
Big mistake
If that is your telescope and you spent over 300$, then that is a mistake
Telescope could be worse, the mount won't be fun to use
@opaque wedge @strong elk can you please tell me why
$300AUD is different to $300USD
dobs here are 500+
thats why amazon telescopes sold so much in australia -
- there was bad advice on telescopes when covid hit
- there wasnt high enough supply of telescope mirrors and there was tons of demand for them, which is why they are far more expensive
is that why they think its bad for the price
is spent 198 usd for it and 300 aud
yes
